It's important to note that the Indian police have already released statements identifying "militant" groups as being behind the protests in Muslim areas, while no such statements are made regarding the assamese Hindus who also protested as vigorously. Hindustan wants to legitimize brutality and lethal force against Muslim protesters, which it would never do against assamese Hindus. Non-muslim victims of the Hindu state are collateral damage, to be avoided if possible. Muslims are legitimate targets.

They want to kill Muslims or force them out. Any talk of other victims of these laws is obfuscation. Yes assamese Hindus will lose their cultural identity...but this was not the intention of Modi and if it happens, is an unwanted side effect.

It is a misconception to assume all the protesters are on the same "side". Assamese Hindus are protesting against the side-effect of this whole plot which will be erosion of assamese identity in cultural terms due to the influx of Bengali Hindus. No other reason. Indeed some sanghified assamese Hindus are not protesting and are willing to accept the Bengali Hindus as part of Modi's plan to manipulate religious demographics across India.
What Modi wants to do in Kashmir is make a Muslim majority region a Muslim minority region. What Modi wants to do in Assam is make a soon-to-be Muslim majority region a definite Muslim minority region.
This is RSS nazi politics. The only resistance will be from Muslims across India who realise what is happening to their demography, their history, their mosques and their legacy, together with non-fascist Hindus and other non-Muslims who oppose the new law on ideological grounds. Most of the assamese Hindus however only oppose it because of its side effects on assamese culture, not because of its underlying ideology.
This explains why the police responses, the kill rate, the tactics are different in Assam as compared with elsewhere.
Indian Muslims should wake up and realise that ayodhya, NRC, CAA, renaming of Muslim locations, anti-Mughal obsessions in pop culture, 370 abrogation are all part of one big friggin Mughal/muslim eradication effort.
