On a serious note, growing cooperation between the two countries requires more than investment and trade. It also requires strategic and political cooperation. Also Saudi wants India to be on its side, not on Iran's, if some critical scenario occurs.

Jundal, who has an Interpol red corner notice against him, was arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Explosives Act and Passport Act. According to the Delhi Police, lone surviving 26/11 attacker Ajmal Qasab has also mentioned Jundal's name in his confession to the court.

The voice sample of Jundal is now being sent for matching with those intercepted by security agencies during the Mumbai attack.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is expected to take custody of the LeT operative for further interrogation.

Lets get some facts cleared here

This person was arrested around 2 months and was in Saudi ARabia on a PAKISTANI passport recruiting expat Indians for possible terrorist acts.

When indian intelligence tracked him down and tipped off the Saudis to arrest him, the Pakistani govt. put pressure to not deport him to India. A DNA test from his family proved to the Saudis that he was really from India and promptly sent him packing to Delhi were he was arrested by Delhi police.

His arrest, at least from reports, prove that Hafiz Saeed was INVOLVED in training of the 26/11 attackers. That the Pakistani tactic has been to show that these terrorists are indigenous to India so as to get attacks against local Muslims and increase tensions in Indian society. The fact that the Pakistani terrorists in Mumbai were coached to say FALSELY that they are form Hyderabad and that they are Deccan Mujahideen proves this tactic. It shows how these Pakistani terrorists and their ISI counterparts have no concern for Indian Muslim and would happy for revenge attacks against Muslims in India wether it be Kashmir or Hyderbad. The same thing with use of Hindi words and wearing saffron threads.

I am from Hyderabad and it makes me frickin mad that this person and his Pakistani accomplice were using the name of my city in these horrible and UnIslamic acts which killed innocent people.

And thankfully, the Saudi help has exposed this plot and now there is no excuse for Pakistan to say that they have no hand in this. Otherwise WHY did the GoP try to stop the deportation of this terrorist to India and WHY was he on a Pakistani passport travelling to Saudi?

Hopefully, GoP will now in good faith arrest Hafiz Saeed and provide voice samples to prove who was present in the control room and then prosecute them or extradite them to India if they can't prosecute them in Pakistan.

and quite frankly, how would ISI (Pakistan as a whole for that matter) gain from gunning down 165 indians in broad daylight....doesnt suit Pakistan's agenda at all. Only delusional, naiive people think that it does/did


and if i were indian (perish the thought) -- i'd be more worried about domestic homegrown terrorist outfits that are doing more damage to indian lives and infrastructure than any Tom Dick or Harry in Pakistan......though that isnt to say that the families of victims of 26/11 dont deserve justice (like any victim of terrorism anywhere in the world would)
