Isn't Goregaon supposed to be one of the high-class suburbs? I saw an article about it on BBC and they said it didn't work out well, and that they don't even get running water.

Its sad that the indian govt wants to copy the sh1tty skylines of chinese cities or NY. they only cause pollutions and nothing else. I hope they just plant a number of trees and live a simple but healthy life.
the neon lights and skyline at night is not a natural habitat for humans. humans like other animals just seem to be attracted to shiny lights and bright objects. there is no achievement if we have such a skyline or tall buildings. it can be made anywhere, even in pakistan. but what would be an achivement is if we have a dynamic city with lot of nature.

loll I live in canada and I have visited Vancouver. Yes Vancouver is a beautiful city, but if you want to compare van infra with shanghai, sorry bro shanghai seems outstanding. Its new and shiny. Even the new infra India is building is better than west. Delhi metro is atleast 10 times better than toronto transit, not only in accuracy but also in comfort and technology. Leave it you wont understand please join a NGO and protest for slum rehabilitation programs.
