Please stop blaming farmers in the same tongue you absolve the idiots who fired off the firecrackers. One Delhi minister, Gopal Rai, indicated that the BJP got people to disregard the Delhi government's ban on firecracker usage. You should have watched NDTV India interviewing some cycling enthusiasts and some school students in the morning just two days ago complaining about the smog causing health problems to them. The cyclists said that people shouldn't be doing firecrackers.

And about those women doing pooja in the OP pictures, what kind of fools are they that the pooja was more important to them than their health ? Did they not see the very visible foam in the water ? Not smell it ?

But about the farm stubble burning issue, well, the solution to that is simple. Vertical Farms and general Urban Farms. Will solve that issue and all farmer related issues. Non propagating of the two methods by the government would be it making unnecessary excuses.

Indian farmers need phainta, since early to mid 2010s pollution in Lahore in terms of winter smog is becoming absolutely crazy

I have been fortunate enough to travel, work and live in many countries. India in my experience is one of the most chaotic, filthy, corrupt and totally dishonest country on earth. A lot has to do with the disgusting caste ridden Hindu "religion" which is more of a filthy cult that sets no standards or norms regulating human behavior of civility. Worshiping cows, monkeys, snakes etc and open street defecation is a recipe for disaster, let alone pollution. India has one of the most extensive fresh water systems originating in the Himalayas, but due to overpopulation and Hindu custom of burning dead corpses in the major Ganges river system is absolute hygiene suicide, not to mention water pollution.

The Hindus in general have no idea about basic hygiene or cleanliness. Everything in India is filthy. Even new office towers in its "modern" hubs like Chennai have totally filthy new buildings, even the elevator buttons are tainted with feces and sticky yuck everywhere. The toilets are so disgusting that one can not use them without throwing up. There is something seriously wrong with India and Hindus. Seriously, it is beyond pollution and filthy, there is some sickness in Hinduism. India really needs to educate its teeming filthy millions.

There are Bollywood Divas, beautiful after numerous surgeries, whitening injections, botox and the works.

And here is a real Indian lady , the main thing missing and should be emphasis is that it is "Sun Worship", facing towards the sun performing the rituals.

Indians are sun worshipers. I had a Hindu old lady in my street, dead now. She used to stand outside her door in the morning performing rituals and praying to the Sun. I have seen her doing it many many times.

Seriously, they have no shame or basic respect for personal space. Even office workers just walk out and sh1t and pee right next to street food stalls. It is appalling, I have not seen such poor hygiene even in the worst parts of Africa. In polluted Indian cities the stench of urine, both human and cows as well as feces is literally floating in the air. On hot humid days it is really unbearable. I walked on a Mumbai beach outside a 5 star hotel and there were not even a few yards without human feces.

Yeah I obsessively watch travel videos from around the world to get an idea of what each country is like on the ground level and I’ve noticed that India is far dirtier than even the undeveloped African countries. And then there are countries like Rwanda which are way cleaner than India.
