It is great to see our forces working together to combat the threat of terrorism. We’ve suffered many losses in fighting terrorism, but it’s our shared will and desire to defeat terrorism that continues to push us forward. It is no secret that we’ve had our fair share of disagreements in the last few years. But we made it a priority to communicate and coordinate regularly in order to prevent the past mistakes from recurring. These meetings also allow us to address our shared concerns and strategize against our common enemies. The terrorists do not waste any opportunity to target our forces, so it only makes sense for us to work together to negate the common threat. The bottom line is that we share a common stance against terrorism, and hope to continue our partnership for the sake of restoring peace and stability in the region.

One to one contact helps build trust and confidence between the two countries. Pakistan and the U.S. have been allies for a long term they need to continue their relation on mutual respect and dignity and it can only be done with these face to face meetings.
