What's new

Delayed by five years, INS Kalvari just a 'toothless' tiger shark?

Must you pre-empt and counter question when you have no pertinent answers?
These forum tactics are very old, come with something new.

What I said is the following:

If the Arihant is operational, what torpedoes is it carrying?
Were those torpedoes fired from INS Arihant during weapons trial?
Who are you BTW? Are you some big boss who Indian Navy needs to report to after every single test or modifications done?
You don't even know 1% of things that happen in Military establishments so what ever you get to know is very less accurate and meaningless facts that change everyday....
And if you believe in such nonsense ask your Pakistani and Chinese friends to attack India and you will get to know the capability of Kolkata, kamorta and arihant without black shark torpedoes that were meant for scorpene submarines....

Depends, Must you ask questions, the answers to which are not available on an online forum.

Forget about INS Arihant, which in Navy's most secretive programme. Can you even tell us if and what torpedoes did Indian Navy kilo or HDW or Foxtrot class submarine fire during its sea trials?
And If you can't provide this information, along with proof, does that prove, that these submarines are not operational ?

INS Arihant : Updates & Discussion

Simple question is not being answered and that is, if at all some torpedoes were fired by INS Arihant during its weapon trials, or not?

For such simple thing you do not have to take a refuge in classified material exercise, just because INS Arihant's picture is available and so is the picture of its nuclear reactor and several other things, hence classified material factor is not applicable here. period.
Rest is your cunning tactics:

Before:

pray tell me, why INS Arihant can not be armed with Set 65, T-53 or T-71/76 torpedoes, the standard torpedo armaments of Indian navy?

See how moron you look now?

Just tried to click the Source of this news and it lead to a random “congratulations you’ve just won xyz” Page.
Can someone please verify if this is just me or is that the case for others as well.

Gracias in advance!

It's a legit link. Never happened to me with NIE link.
So it's likely a malware on your device/browser.

India is hopefully responsible enough to not mount any nukes on any SLBM on Arihant, just in case that sub exploded with the nukes onboard.
Given that fact Indian test of JL-2 SLBM in 2004 failed, more reason for India not to do so

https://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/china/jl-2.htm

On 02 December 2004 Bill Gertz reported that China conducted tests of the JL-2 in 2002 and 2003. The Chinese suffered a setback in the JL-2 missile program when a test flight of the JL-2 missile failed in the summer of 2004. The JL-2 missile program was delayed by the test failure but is continuing to be developed.

Such a long delay can only be attributed to incompetence, corruption and complacency.
Corruption certainly yes

Given the fact India's $1.3 trillion losses due to corruption

Firstly Set 65, T-53 or T-71/76 are the standard torpedoes operated by Indian navy. It is just an assumption that these torpedo arm the Indian navy submarine arm. As to knowledge which torpedo was fired from which submarine, either during sea trials or during naval exercises or if it all they were fired, is not public knowlege.

Similarly if, which or how many torpedoes were fired by INS Arihant during which phase of trial is not public knowledge either.

And Just like, you wont find a document detailing the firing exercises carried by Indian navy's diesel submarines during their sea trials, do not cast a doubt on the diesel submarines operational status. Inability to find a document detailing the INS arihant sea trials should not cast doubts to it operational status either.

Simply put it is not public knowledge.

Missiles may failed in the test phase. But JL-2 is now operational. India , however, have the only sub that ever exploded while docked. That is unprecedented in modern history.

Guess then China's second strike is its final nail in its coffin

Subs are lost during trials or exercises. But India is the only country to lost a sub while docked....
Never realized CPC has censored Kursk submarine disaster

You mean we can beat Chinese in poor workmanship like that of this incident >>>> Chinese submarine 361 (Ming-class submarine) that killed all 70 crew members on board in 2003 might kickstart your brain dead memory perhaps ??
All fake. Ming class is an Indian submarine

India can’t manufacture torpedoes and have not bought any, so it’s a reasonable assumption that Arihant does not carry any torpedoes.

Has INS Arihant ever fired any K-15 or K-4 so far?
