The BLA is fairly reasonable, I wouldn't put them in the same group as ISIS or the TTP, the BLA is just too nationalistic about being Baluchi, which causes them to do some stupid sh*t. Also, they don't attack civilians as much as ISIS aor the TTP and unlike those two they are willing to negotiate.

ISIS and the TTP only understand violence, peace has been tried with them and they respond with acts worse than what the Nazi's would do.

So who is a true liberal? All these award wapasi gang and "secular" journalists call themselves "liberals" and "intelectuals"

I think we are mixing up adjectives and assuming they all mean the same thing....they do not.

Liberal means an openness to new ideas and a willingness to discard traditional values
Secular means separation of church and state ...that laws or government policies should not have a religious basis

You can be secular and illiberal or visa versa.


The self styled "intellectuals" in India tend to be aging folk stuck in the morals and issues of the mid20th century in India.

What unites them is a left leaning conviction. They are more concerned with justice and distribution than with merit. Like all lefties they rebel against the "establishment" and this establishment in India are mostly high caste Hindu men.

There are fewer young people in this crowd because these oldies are still mostly concerned about the issues that were important to India in the 60s and 70s ....Kashmir, colonialism,the Muslim question, caste....

Key point here is unneccesary. If the enemy is attacking your country and you defend it it is not unnnecesary
