Defence reforms a priority, says PM Narendra Modi, stresses on need to win ‘swift wars’ Narendra Modi

. .
Swift war theory is common to many countries. It is actually more applicable among nuclear powered countries, so as to avoid crossing the threshold.

. .
Not sure how anybody infers this as war-mongering. Ever-practical Modi is only stating the obvious reality of present day conflicts. Doesn't mean he wants to initiate one just for the thrill of it.

I'm sure you are aware that Pakistan's policy for such an event (Cold Start) is nuclear escalation with Nasr tactical nuclear weapons. And India's policy in the event of tactical nuclear weapons being used on their forces, is massive nuclear retaliation, i.e. total nuclear war.

Win-win for you guys, eh?

We would like to call their BLUFF one day

That's where S-400's, along with indigenous BMD's, fit right in.
