According to Prasun Sengupta, GSL had since the 1980s had a tie-up with Intermarine SA of Italy, which was the L-2 bidder in the cancelled MCMV tender (where Kangnam was L-1). This project appears secure, it might take time, but IN's gonna get a larger number of minesweepers than previously planned (12 vs 8) and most of the money would be pumped back into Indian industry.

Indeed navy wool get more & so the Indian industry but it will take a decade(according to the article) for the 1st vessels to arrive
