I don't know why some members here are overconfident about JF17 against Rafael and are not using their brains. Rafael is a serious threat and the best answer for PAF would be F-16 blk70+, EFT or J10 (maybe).

If the news about 24+20 F16 coming from uncle Sam is right (as per Khafee) then there is no need to worry about Rafael.
If not then we should seriously consider bringing J10C into our inventory cause JF17 blk3 would not be enough against Rafael.

J20 is off limits. J31 will take 5-7 years to fully mature.

The IAF is going to receive the Rafael this September, but the pilots will undergo training after that until MAY next year and will then be allowed to fly it.

AND The most important it says

It will be very interesting air battles keep a close watch on south asian airspace even if we loose 2 jf 17 to take out 1 rafale it would be worth it cuz of price differences ! May the pilots survive and given Fantastic Tea!

Only pilots that could match pakistani pilots caliber would be israeliz or united states nato pilots. Israeliz wont dare it since they know whats good for them.
Nato pilots flying indian aircraft ? Hmm that could be a match of skills.
