I think this entire thread is a gross violation of the "no religious discussion" policy of PDF.

No matter how you twist and wordsmith it to discuss, debate, etc. If this is not religious I don't know what is. And a discussion is a flow of ideas and contributions amongst many. This is exactly that. There is not the necessity of dissent in a discussion as is being implied here and elsewhere.

I have nothing against you guys doing this in your mosques amongst yourselves.

Why here on an international forum with members of all faiths?

Before you know it there will be Hindus starting similar threads. Will the administration wield the same heavy hand in sanitizing this place when you guys jump in?

I see one of you already banned here for raising his voice against the same issue. I guess if the administration is serious enough about banning a muslim, a hindu would stand no chance in comparison.

I urge all of you guys to please stop this and keep these sort of threads off the forum. It is setting a bad precedent, and will only snowball from here.

I have appealed to @Horus @WebMaster etc. but they have obviously decided to let this pass. So I can only urge and appeal to each of you muslim brothers on a personal level. It is not healthy for the secular and international credentials of this forum to have this sort of blatant proselytizing and eulogizing happening here.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshiping in the mornings, the nights."
