I specifically said that terrorism has no religion. However, while saying that all Muslims are not terrorists, in case of Pakistan, it is fact that all terrorists activities against Pakistan and its citizens are hatched by Muslims presently, under foreign occupation.

How many time we hear that Afghans are caught by our intel agencies, ploting terrorist acts against our citizens? TBH, I am not even sure what is your stance on this issue?! And then there is a small issue of Afghans, across both sides of Durand line having inbred disdain for Pakistan and living in some lala land of greater Afghanistan with KPK and Baluchistan part of it! Even their young ones who were born in Pakistan. I have seen few on this forum as well.

And lets say these refugees are granted citizenship, it will take only one of them to blow him/herself or get caught in terrorist activity, and it will all blow on IK face with all the unimaginable political cost he will have to bear. It just not worth the risk, not under present geopolitical scene when Afghansitan is under foreign occupation with all the hostile anti-Pakistan forces entrenched there. Maybe when we have a friendly government in Kabul then perhaps this could be revised, but not now.

As a leader, you make the right choice. If there are 2 million refugees and you can't send them back, then them working and contributing is better for Pakistan than them being illegals and only causing crime

The best option is to give them nationality for a period, then kick out anyone with no nationality. Criminal elements won't get ID cards because they know they'll be caught

If we have bear with this for last few decades, we can wait and be patient. This could be announced as a gesture of goodwill to new government in Kabul who is friendly to Pakistan. Right decision at right time.
