Why do left liberals think that only they have intellectual facilities and rest all are illiterate dumb people who people who cant be expected to understand and should not be allowed to comment/vote on this. And this is not limited to India.

When modi won the seculars were frothing in their mouths and some of them asked for Hindus to be disenfranchised.

With Brexit vote going against their notion the same thing again started. There were columns saying that older people should be disenfranchised, that people in general dont have the intellectual capacity to know what they want

Same is the case in America. The Trump supporters are called simpletons, loons, thugs and what not. (P.S - I dont supprt trump but I will never label his supporters as dumb)

I am too old to take offence to what people say , i know in real life most wont be able to say half of what they talk here to others they know.

To be fair to them, I was playing a Devil's advocate and taking a contrarian view.

We often have a filter b/w what we think and what we say, this generation doesn't. I think except for few hardly anyone got the point that once they are dead, it does no good to abuse them. All our religions teach us that DEATH IS A GREAT EQUALIZER. Be they terrorists or saints - after death the judgement is left to Gods if you believe in them and if not then they just meat.

Agree with the first part.

Even one or two Kashmiris are too many ideally speaking. However here we are seeing tens of thousands so something "extra" must be done to alleviate their concerns. They are Indians after all.

It is another matter that the moment they take up arms or stones in this case, they loose all sympathy. Violence against the state has no place in my India.

Recently Burhan was killed by Indian Security forces and as expected the usual insults followed. Same happens when terrorists/rebels are killed anywhere with interested parties celebrating the deaths. I dont hope to discuss here if Burhan was a terrorist or gunman or a rebel. That is immaterial to the captioned subject.

My point is quite simple - We should not be celebrating deaths even if they are of our enemies.

In this specific case, Burhan might be a terrorist but he is fighting for something he believed in. Now that he is dead what can we as Indians gain by hurling interests at his dead body. We are better than this. Gloating is for insecure folks - so let us just appreciate our forces for a job well done and work towards ensuring more innocent youths do not take up this path of terrorism.

sorry, but I'm going to keep calling them names, burhan wani was a jihadist scumbag no different to the al qaeda/al nusra/isis etc guys in the middle east.

Did u forget the crowds in 90's. They were ten times the current one.

Oh..no one is denying that there are no crowds.
But that can not be a reason. These crowds are a mixture of terrorists, their sympathisers and misguided youth. But when this cocktail starts attacking police, pandits and common people, all of them together are responsible for the consequences.

These guys are alienating themselves. There are only so many times you can reach out to a bully. Some times the bully needs a hard slap of reality. Unfortunately for these thugs in the valley, it just might happen sooner than later.
