hi Guys
wonder if someone is using trial or basic version of Malware bytes that is supposed to protect you against malicious software that is not captured by your standard Anti Virus softwares

now this Malware byte program comes recommended its premium trial version is annoying like Norton Anti virus. I just keep getting the following popup every time I go to any website. even outlook or news site or the forum or even youtube.,
the details never show what software or extension or app is causing this issue and how it can be cleaned.

searching the web didnt give much information. some forums say there maybe a hidden keylogger or some software but nothing beyond that on how to remove it.

any ideas?

the same problem with Internet explorers happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn't
my chrome extensions are only addblocker and popup blocker I added from play store

I removed chrome and reinstalled it but still had this issue

.
Try uninstalling it and get a some other anti-virus software.

. .
already got Microsoft security essentials that report clean system
But have you uninstalled the previous software? Mate, remember that most of these anti-virus are themselves huge viruses. You need to do a deep uninstall. I don't know much about Windows but on Mac you can easily do either with the some apps like AppCleaner or Dr Clean Pro.

This software is acting like a ransomware.. i.e. "buy or I won't let you browse or use your PC" a typical ransomware trait.

thanks all
it seems it was one of the extensions. a maths game extension I installed from play store which was triggering this alert
we always tend to forget (I speak for my self) there is no such thing as free meal . when we install free version of apps extensions or programs there is always a chance of getting something more than you wanted which may turn out to be unwanted.

paint.net is another such program which is good to use but always comes with other nasties

use Kaspersky Internet security with its privacy protection and parental control features, it will block every single file or IP address which is trying to access your data without your permission

If you look into the logs of malwarebyte it will show the source application i think.

It seems like this is either a chrome extension or an application is trying to access the IP via chrome.
Doesn't seem overly offensive trojan.

disable its automated security and only use it for scanning when you want to.
Eset is the best for keeping your system clean from viruses tbh, and malwarebytes antimalware is best for the second layer of defence against threats unrecognizable by eset.

great contributions guys.
every day is a school day.there is no end to internet threats. once you think you have nailed your security there comes another kind of threat which your standard run of the mill anti virus cant detect or remove.

Don't install freeware. The best security professionals actually keep their systems patched with latest patches and never install any anti-virus. You have no idea how much data that anti-malware is collecting and sending.

yes it was an extension which stayed even after removing and reinstalling Chrome.
I had to do process of elimination by first trying internet explorer and saw there was no warning on sites that bring up that warning and then I went back to Chrome and started removing the extensions and in the end it turned out to be an innocent Maths game extension which I had installed from play store (which is supposed to be clean and secure).

I agree
information is money

@Irfan Baloch

Sir, I am using original Microsoft Windows 10 Professional License. It have its own security system and performance is satisfactory. Updates keep coming for free.

Only paid security arrangements are good. Freeware programs are not up to the task.

The only 100% best way to defeat key loggers is to use the onscreen keyboard because your key strokes cannot be recorded.
