"After an overnight stay at a hotel located on the banks of the River Jhelum, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has resumed a long road trip to his hometown of Lahore via the Grand Trunk (GT) Road.

Today, he is expected to make a stop at Gujranwala. Possible stops along the way include Kharian, Lalamusa and Gujrat.

As the Sharif convoy approaches Kharian, anti-Nawaz songs can be heard played inside Kharian Cantonment, DawnNews reported.

There is an estimated crowd of about 2,000-3,000 people waiting to welcome the procession in Kharian."

Dawn seems disappointed after flop car rally as they have one day left and not a single stone was pelted on nawaz convoy specially after low tone speech vs expected fiery speech against military leadership of pakistan at kachari chowk , rawalpindi.
