It is very obvious that Dharmic religions get a very raw deal while Christians and Muslims get a very favorable deals.

Generally people caution Democracy turning into Mobocracy but in India we have a appeasing Democracy (term coined by me). People in India lean so much to the left to be right. With this mentality, if we plan to implement UCC, we would end up with 30% of the law based on Sharia and may lead to triple talak being legally valid for the Dharmic people too.

Dharmic religions follow a very different form of thought when compared to Islam and Christianity. We have reformed and continue to reform our religions with time. I do not want Dharmic religions to loose this great trait and limitations imposed due to UCC.

Its a disgrace, but this case of divorse would be handled according to islamic marriage act. Hence this fellow has the convenience of hiding behind islamic marriage act. India constitution allows muslms to deal their maritial cases according to their religion.

So rather i am curious to know if its allowd in islam to reject your wife after being pregnant, and that too with these silly excuses of skin color. And does the wife even stand any choice once the guy utters 3 words oftalaq ?

Nothing can be done as per Muslim personal Laws. Talaq means divorce and Indian muslim womens suffer from these.

Uniform Civil code is a must.
