Dangerous American Police - maybe this is why people are protesting?

Regime security forces murdering citizens over non-violent offenses? That's a human rights issue. And the reason people are "obsessed" over American human rights is because under the guise of "human rights", America will start wars, invade, and/or meddle in other nations' affairs.

It's only fair that the self-anointed "champion" of human rights, who publishes an annual report excoriating the supposed lack thereof in nations America deems not "friendly" (aka not an American puppet), faces the same scrutiny. Though judging from the responses from some of our resident American posters, it seems American dedication to their beloved "freedoms" is just for show.

dude, do you actually know what is the meanijg of HUMAN RIGHT and what is the meaning of CIVIL RIGHT?

Human right is the basic right to be human, if i do no let you speak, see, feel, smell, love, believe, hate so on and so forth, thats a human right violation

Police abuse their power (firearms) and shoots people to dead without due process is a civil right violation. As this is your civil right by law to be protected from law enforcement agency using excessive power on u without due process. ie they cannot kills you until you are convicted by a court of law, cause convicting people is not the right of law enforcement agency

The fact that the American allow people to demostrate said event is a prime example HUMAN RIGHT are being observed by the US government.

I know you hate america, but try to find the right word next time. Are you even in Canada or an Canadian or you are just another flaseflag Chinese? cos i sweat Canadian have better language skill than that and your word ing feels Chinese, i know because 我也說中文的

We must reflect on what has happened and learn from it moving forward.

"Human rights are moral principles or norms[1] that describe certain standards of human behaviour, and are regularly protected as legal rights in national and international law.[2] They are commonly understood as inalienable[3] fundamental rights "to which a person is inherently entitled simply because she or he is a human being,"[4] and which are "inherent in all human beings"[5] regardless of their nation, location, language, religion, ethnic origin or any other status.[3] They are applicable everywhere and at every time in the sense of being universal,[1] and they are egalitarian in the sense of being the same for everyone.[3] They require empathy and the rule of law[6] and impose an obligation on persons to respect the human rights of others.[1][3] They should not be taken away except as a result of due process based on specific circumstances,[3] and require freedom from unlawful imprisonment, torture, and execution"

I put that last part in bold - just a quick 5 second google search led me to this wikipedia definition and I think it supports my point quite well. You can nitpick between human/civil rights but the point is American cops are getting away with murder.

By the way I'm ethnic Chinese so that would make me a Chinese Canadian. I'm about as "false flag" as gambit or you are with regards to your American citizenship.

Finally, no offense man, but your language skills are really too lousy for you to be judging me or anyone else's English. I can hear your thick Chinglish accent from here and we've both been typing the whole time. ;)

Why can't these blacks act in a civilized manner?

Why do they have to resist arrest? Why did that Ferguson guy rob a store and then charge at the police? Why was that kid playing with a realistic-looking gun?

I shed no tears and no sympathy for what's happened. They commit crimes yet act innocent. People are rioting over the criminal Brown! It's incredibly sickening.

Criminal doesnt mean you have to be killed. Granted they shouldnt have resisted police arrests. However, this doesnt justify killing/shooting at them though. would love if that happaned to you or you brother, then lets see how you react. Aftwerall, its not a crime to be black and big. Though i heard it might be a crime to have a darker colour in some Indians states, as you will be looked down upon, than say having a lighter skin.:D

Whether Police brutality is a common phenomenon in every country or whether it is a civil or human rights issue, should not be the point of concern here....
U.S.A, as the self-proclaimed harbinger of democracy, human, social and civil rights, should not be having such issues in their own country....
When U.S.A tags other countries as repressive, dictatorial, undemocratic and pokes its nose where it doesn't belong, then I think all the others together should criticize and interfere in such matters in the U.S.......the police force is under the Govt., so the govt. has control over it and if they are violating human, civil or whatever rights then it is same as the Govt. violating the basic rights of its own subjects......and when they are protesting, it's the same state machinery that sends the troops to suppress those protests....
Thus, the difference between a dictatorship and this system is very little, the only difference being that the people have the choice to reject the Govt. through elections BUT, they can't do so overnight, they have to deal with such state repression for certain amount of time before they can reject it and within that time frame, there is no difference between a rogue dictatorship and a so called democratically elected Govt.

Keeping that in mind, people all over the world should protest against such blatant abuse of human and civil rights mainly of a certain section of the U.S. citizens and stand by them and show the world, how repressive the U.S govt. itself is.....

Iran has already 'criticized' U.S.A on the issue......kudos to them, other countries, including India should join them....

lool India lecturing the U.S on human rights/freedom and democracy bro? With all due respect India wont ever do that, well not for a longggg time. Simply because India has too much to lose in doing so, as it needs western/U.S support for now, afterall, its the U.S that got a waiver to India from the NSG(nuclear supplier group) even though many countries were strongly against, India will also need U.S support if it is to be ever considered an official nuclear power as well, and joing the P5 as well, cooperations in several tech sectors, softwares, weapons sales etc. So India has much to gain from cozying up with the U.S for now than going Irans way of head on confrontation and thus incur sanctions/isolation. Iran can rightly condemn U.S 'human rights abuses' since they have little to nothing to lose. India is different, since they have much to lose in doing so and taking anovert stance against the U.S

The Most Dangerous Cities in America - 24/7 Wall St.

#5 Cleveland Violent crimes per 100,000: 1,478
#4 St Louis (Fergusen). Violent crimes per 100,000: 1,594

Bad things happen in bad places. You have a 1.5 chance out of 100 of being a victim of a violent crime every year in one of these two places. Not a fun place to be.

Where did I say criminals deserve to be killed and what does that have to do with India? Red herring much? They were being arrested for committing a crime. That is what sparks the conflict with police. They refuse to comply and start attacking the police, that is what causes them to get killed. Then their community shouts at the top of their lungs that "he was a good boy" or "he didndu nothin".

lool Well you were generalizing a whole race, you said i quote: Why can't these blacks act in a civilized manner? who the hell says such silly/provacting things? and for that matter an Indian as well, a country which much more deep social problems, caste system than the U.S or any western country for that matter can ever be.
I was just pointing out that if you want to generalize a whole race the way you generalized blacks as uncivilized, then I can begin to quote what other say about Indians which you yourself wont like. Some british/euorpean poeple say Why do indians all smell like curry, are dirty(the country stinks of poos) and worship co(some think cows roam all along Indian roads.).etc. Judging by this negetive thinking people hold about India, they dont think its that different(maybe worse) than blacks/africans. There are many other unflattering stereotypes about Inddians which some people hold which i cant name them all on here. Moral of the story is never stereotype/generalize a race/people, less you be generalized as well. So mind your language next time you talk about a race bro. I say things the way they are, sorry about that, no hard feelings though:bounce::D:cheers:

The social ills of your country are just as bad as ours, if not worse. Some in India may ask why white women are such, excuse my French, whores? Others might as why white mothers are so selfish that they divorce and marry and divorce, punishing their children. Even more may ask why whites kick out their children at 18? And nearly all will ask why they hate their parents so much as to abandon them at nursing homes? I say things the way they are, sorry about that no hard feelings though.

@jhungary is a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese.

But no doubt his primary identity is American.

Anyway, @AgentOrange's written English is far superior to that of Jhungary.

I know. I just find it ironic that he, as a naturalized American citizen, would cast aspersion on my citizenship by calling me a "false flagger." I've never hidden the fact that I'm Chinese Canadian.

No doubt his feelings are constantly hurt whenever other Americans ask him "where he's from" and look confused when he says "America." And then they ask him "No, where are you really from?" And his feelings are hurt even more. As I said, ironic. ;)

The key words is highlighted in RED. - Due process, and the case is currently on-going

You have quoted an document in your OP suggested the DOJ have already launch an investigation on the Dec 4 of 2014. The point being, that officer or officers involved are "Innocent until proven guilty" As long as a check and balance system is in place, the HUMAN RIGHT is preserved until the case is proven guilty, and even so, the HUMAN RIGHT would also be preserved as the governance of law required a punishment.

What you are saying is only correct if there are no due process to process these kind of case BEFORE or AFTER the facts. Hence either the police would not be stopped or punished by violating human rights. I say BEFORE or AFTER the fact is simply because no country can prevent crime from happening, even as big brother as we become. Unlike the TV series Person of Interest, Crime are always committed, regardless how developed a country could be, it's the justice system that's count.

SO, by saying this, your point in Blue is a misnomer. The case is ongoing, there is an active investigation. So, there are only 1 of the 2 ways could go down. Either the officer/officers was charged and convicted, hence justice is served, and the "get Away" part is invalid. Or the officer is not charged/found not guilty and released, hence no violation are found and no allegation were substantiated.

By the way I'm ethnic Chinese so that would make me a Chinese Canadian. I'm about as "false flag" as gambit or you are with regards to your American citizenship.

Forum rules determined one of the flag is a location flag, and the other is your allegiance, and looking at your allegiance, I do not see you allegiance is toward Canada, but China. Hence using both Canadian Flag is false flag.

I don't know about Gambit, I, on the other hand was an American Born Chinese and I retained Chinese Citizenship via Hong Kong, unless you are trying to suggest that Hong Kong is not part of China, then I am not a false flag, as I still have a Chinese Passport, and my allegiance can be toward China, in my case, there is just not enough box to put all my nationality in, if they have 5 boxes, I can put every flag I have citizenship with, but there are only 2.

Finally, no offense man, but your language skills are really too lousy for you to be judging me or anyone else's English. I can hear your thick Chinglish accent from here and we've both been typing the whole time. ;)

Can't argue with you with that dude, if you can HEAR my accents all the way in Canada when I am typing, not speaking, in Australia lmfao:

Yeah especially since American media has made Vietnamese into one of their primary antagonists in films, TV series and other media.

You're a Chinese Canadian? I have quite a few extended family members living in Canada. They visit Hong Kong sometimes, though I think they have somehow "adapted" to the cold weather so they find it intolerably hot and humid in Hong Kong. :D They love it though, especially the sightseeing.

The Chinese government does not recognize "dual citizenship". And certainly not 5.

You're either a Chinese national, or you are a foreign national.

Since you haven't given up your other nationalities, you are a foreign national.

Canada is great and everyone really is that polite. :enjoy: Also, I don't have to worry about the police murdering me over some minor infraction. That's also pretty great.

Last I heard Pakistani police are so beloved...:omghaha:

Our Pulce aren't the best, but seriously, don't insult them like that, these men all over Pakistan put their lives at risk, facing terrorists, criminals and murderers who are armed to the teeth. With nothing to protect themselves but their clothes and uniform, inferior firepower, open top vehicles and tin cans. They often pay the ultimate sacrifice and their lives aren't appreciated.

But here, I'm gonna try and treat them with the same respect people give soldiers.

whole world police sucks

British police are on the whole very good. Very few and rare instances of things going wrong, and when they have, accountability is never far behind.
