This is their traditional cutral dance. Every culture has it. Even Arabs do this dance, turks do this they have their own. All central Asian countries from Azerbaijan to chechiya have their own. Phustoons have their own gilgit baltis have their own. Blochis have their own. Punjabis are said to have some form. I don't know anything specific (sadly I am a punjabi and don't know) please I am not adding that bhangra stuff etc as it is nothing but jumping.
Sindhis too have some form of dance. This is cultural form of unity. This is very modest usually in duff and drums. And are not haram. Socities have them.
It's basically our pakistani mentality speaking that has been trained into thinking like everything that is different from Arab culture is haram
