Dancing in the Indus Valley Civilization

First and foremost, history of Pakistan should be taught in schools from IVC period, not 1947, that was another modern event that just solidified our ancient borders, and got us rid of gangus. And then a very intensive drive by government to project our history and own it.

Yup.

And after IVC, teleport to Ghazni and Ghori?

.
Dancing in the indus valley civilization has been unexplored arena, but i have been able to gather some evidences on the type of dances evidenced in the IVC and their relation to modern day dance evidences from south asia.

When i see the evidence, immediately sword fight pose came to my mind.. maybe its depicting an ancient battle more ancient than IVC ancient.

I think @W.11 is a indian female married to a Karachi guy..

I think they are proto-cossack Russian dancers.

@Taimur Khurram @Talwar e Pakistan

@W.11 Why are you on a mission to Gangufy this section?

Something that smells like a Gangu, talks like a Gangu, acts like a Gangu has got to be a Gangu or as good as. I am 100% sure @W.11 is a Gangu or Ganguphile.
He's been lately trying to go to the most random extents in his irrational bid to connect IVC to some Biharis living a thousand miles away.

In his previous thread, he attempted to relate an IVC seal to a "Shunga coin" from somewhere in Bengal.

Looking at his location, it seems he belongs to that specific group which anguish at the idea of us accepting and taking pride in our indigenous history, instead, they desperately try to rope us into a forceful marriage with an Indian identity.

. . . .
Teach the Indus dance at school as part of physical therapy.

You are free to go to your dance halls and operas. The state has no business in which way you twerk

.
Most are not part of Indus valley civilization at all. Or we don't even know if dance forms existed in Indus Valley. The records of organized dance forms in the subcontinent came in natyasastra, there may have been dance forms before. But unlike the Buddhists, the Hindus had shoddy record-keeping rather believed in oral traditions.

.
The nationalist indus guy was not far off when it actually referenced Hopak/cossak dance here, amusiingly they have been shown in some mesopotamian seals dating back 2000 BC
, some of the figures playing lute are also shown in the squating position

Now go make a thread on how descendants of the Mesopotamians are now living somewhere in Uttarpradesh, because of some squatting position dance.
