These sorta incidents usually take place in small villages, where people know each other. Otherwise you can't really recognize a dalit.

You cannot make out who is a Dalit, Muslim, Christian, Jew, Jain, or anything like that.

It is only if your are known figure VIP or a village boy where all know you.

You can recognize people of higher caste by their surnames , not much idea about dalits.

By the way I have not seen any such isolation at our village temple, since last 25 years I have seen many So called Dalits coming and participating in bhajan and night-outs....
