Awami League Fascist and Looting Demands Made in Shabag

Shabag gathering turned out to be Awami league fascists demanding mob justice. From street demand of hanging accused with and without a tribunal that already proven Awami League run court, Shabag bound Awami league mob presented their fascist demand yesterday. Among fascist demands Awami league crowd made in shabag were:

1) Shut down or Awami League regime taking over of Daily Amadesh, Nayadiganta and Diganta media. First sign of fascism is taking over or shutting down newspapers.

It is important to note that it is Daily Amardesh which revealed evidence (skype conversaton of judge and outsiders, emails) tribunal was controlled by Awami League regime and verdict was manufactured from outside even before trial completion.

2) Awami league regime take over and loot largest and most successful private bank, Bangladesh Islami bank. As if Sonali and Grameen bank looting and take over was not enough money for Awami League they want to loot largest bank in Bangladesh under guise of “71 spirit”. Same way Sheikh Mujub son went to loot Bangladesh Bank vault.

It is important to note that Islami Bank Bangladesh has nothing to do with Jamaat and a purely financial institute. 3) Awami league installed Vice Chancellors from different govt run universities expressed the fascist mob spirit by calling on for civil war against ideological and political opposition.

However without going in to too much detail, I've been told that I should report offensive posts.

1. Members of a certain political party who only make up 4.6% of the electorate have hijacked this forum for many years and have been spreading hatred. This forum to whatever small degree influences people's perception of my country.

People believe that we hate Hindus, that we want a war with India, due to these Jamatis who essentially dominate the Bangladeshi sub-forum.

2. They dominate by bullying and insulting normal Bangladeshis like me in to silence. Look at how many times Al-Zakir has sworn on here, with no remorse, no sense of shame. I wonder if any action will be taken against him or Kobiraaz who started this thread and insulted me in the first post.

If Jamati domination of this sub-forum continues Indian posters will continue to think we are Hindu-hating extremists who want a war with India.

3. We Bangladeshis realize that the world is turning east, to Asia. This is the Asian century. For a long time the white west dominated the world but now power is shifting to Asia. China is progressing. India is also another giant and progressing. We Bangladeshis are fellow non-white "brown" people and part of Asia and want to be part of a common Asian future.

India and China are doing trade of around $100 billion though despite being "enemies" (e.g. nukes pointed at each other). These Jamatis do not want my people, my country to do the same and engage with a huge market of 1 billion Indians next door. They do not want my people to have better standards of living, better health care, clothing etc. They just want war with India.

If I achieve anything in this forum it is the realization amongst our neighbours to the west that this sub-forum does not represent Bangladesh and is dominated by people from a party which represents 4.6% of votes in Bangladesh.

I do not want Jamatis to hijack my country's future prosperity and chances of being part of a wider common Asian future.

regarding point 2 some times moderator here are biased by their judgement and some times they are late .

So most importance will be given to ASEAN and BD and Myanmar are important for us.

India-BD relations do have some obstacles like Birder killings and Teesta water deal. Regarding Border Killings we see these things as unfortunate things and some what worried about the back lash and anti India sentiments at the same time we also want to stop smuggling and illegal migrations.

Regarding Teesta water deal I am sure the deal which is agreeable to both the nations will be done very soon.

The land disputes between the two nations are almost solved and dialogue is going on.

Regarding Brahmaputra waters India's approach is quite open (dialogue with BD on all issues) unlike china which is unilateral.

I hope for a better India - BD relations with out misunderstandings.

1. We are situated between two of the BRIC states and the two largest countries on earth, China and India (population wise) and two of the oldest civilizations in the world. India gave the world yoga, curry, certain martial arts, ayurvedic medicine, China gave the world acupuncture, Taoist martial arts (which predate Bodhidharma), gunpowder and many other things.

We are in a unique position (along with Burma which is actually situated even more centrally than us in some ways) to benefit from this whilst the Chinese dragon and the Indian elephant do $100 billion trade with each other.

I want to remove outstanding bi-lateral issues between our two countries and facilitate trade.

It is also in India's interests to have a prosperous thus peaceful Bangladesh rather than a failed state where the masses are prey to war hungry mullahs and Jamatis backed by the intelligence services of certain countries, a country with 150 million angry Muslims is not in India's interests. Let us resolve our issues and become friends.

I sincerely do not believe in this concept of "illegal immigration" as I am from a border thana myself, but if it were a reality then let us discuss ways we can resolve it and all other issues.

The white west does not like brown people or at least they do not want non-whites to become equal and thus disrupt their current global hegemony, but I think their experts realize this is an unavoidable reality. We are brown, "desi", Indic people and be we Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, Sindhi will be seen as "brown" people and if our region is seen as inferior we will be treated as such. When people see slumdog millionaire they think all "you brown people" (Bangladeshi/Indian/Pakistani") are the same. The masses do not distinguish between our nations in such a way.

Thus our whole region should develop. Thus when I hear that Lakshmi Mittal is the richest man in Britain, I as a South Asian person feel happy and this improves the image of south Asian people in general.

Jamatis and co may suck up to other non-South Asian Muslims but they will always be regarded as inferior to them and this was historically the case e.g. with the notorious Fatwa Jalandari and other things and the whole evil and perverted Ashraf and Altaf caste system.

3. As for Jamatis they are a nuisance but not much else. They enjoy very little support in the country and the powerful Dhaka intelligentsia hold them in contempt. The BNP do not like them that much and know their true nature.

Khaleda will go for improved ties and trade with India, but not at the cost of some important things for us e.g. an end to border killings, equitable water deals etc.

You ask a good question. Our language Bangla is pre-Islamic. Our Hindu and budhist population are part of our our nation whose heritage is pre-Islamic.

But the soul of Bangladesh is Muslim with full accomadation to those of other religion and those without any religion.

Our body politics is a tapestry of religious cultural and racial heritages but we are one.

We stand proud confident in our history and blend of influences. Bangladeshi is just what we are called now but from the point Islam came to us and the creation of the delhi sultanate to the independent Muslim sultanates through the Mughal and the British Raj to Pakistan and now Bangladesh our political thoughts have evolved but the Constance is Islam. We are a primary Muslim nation who know what we were and what we are. Secularism is unnecessary, extremism is alien to our people and we do not bow to foreign powers.

BAL will fail as have others to turn us into vassal of any nation and move us from the body politic of the Muslim world. For BAL we came into existence in 1971 a fallacy that won't stand the test of time.
