NEW DELHI: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama will be in Arunachal Pradesh as a state guest for a week starting November 8, state chief minister Dorjee Khandu said on Wednesday.
The Dalai Lama, whose Arunchal visit is being objected to by China, will visit Itanagar, Tawang and some other places.
Brushing aside Chinas objections to Dalais visit, Mr Khandu, who is currently in Delhi, said the Tibetan leader had visited Arunachal several times earlier and was always welcome in the state. He added that Dalai Lama will be given all state protocols.
