We live here for 1000 years and intermarried with the native Anatolian people, you clown. And what is "land of others" the first Greek migrants built their settlements in the late Bronze Age ~1000BC on Cyprus.

Anyways Turkey was for the rational solution everyone get's equal rights as it was signed in the 60s... but was not accepted by the Greek side who dreamed from Enosis, Cypriot Greek militants EOKA/EOKA-B harassed the Turkish population, Turks striked back and that's how the conflict started. Then the Annan plan was rejected by Greek Cypriots (fortunately).
