If the capability and will is there, why not apprehend the R&AW commander and the terrorists in Afghanistan itself, isn't it risky to let them come right at the doorstep of their intended attacks and also not getting the big fish? After all, there's plenty of cannon fodder for R&AW to buy to do this again, but only a finite number of R&AW intel officers in Afghanistan and Iran.

Security Agencies Foil Indian Attempt to Blow Lahore Secretariat

Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has successfully foiled the Indian terrorist plot to blow up the Lahore Civil Secretariat, saving hundreds of precious human lives.

According to details, a CTD-led intelligence-based operation conducted on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of 5 RAW-backed Afghan nationals from a warehouse in the Shahdra area.



CTD officials seized a hand grenade, pistols, ammunition, sketches of the Civil Secretariat and Lahore High Court, fake Pakistani identity cards, Afghan identity documents, mobile phones containing videos and photos, and Pakistan and Afghan currency during the operation.


Indian visa applications were also recovered from the warehouse, suggesting the terrorists had planned to visit India for further training after executing this activity.



During interrogation, the India-backed terrorists disclosed they were an hour away from detonating an improvised explosive device (IED) in front of the Peoples House Gate of the Civil Secretariat at the time of its closing.


They also revealed that RAW officials based in Afghanistan are the mastermind of this plot who had paid them 200,000 Afghani in advance and had promised them millions after successful execution of the plan.


A CTD spokesperson said the arrested terrorists are the children of Afghan refugees and originally belonged to Jalalabad, Afghanistan but were raised in Pakistan.



A case has been registered in the CTD Police Station against the terrorists on the charges of terrorism, possession of explosives, and weapons for the commission of offenses of terrorism and getting funds for terrorism financing.


This isn’t the first instance where India-sponsored terrorists have been arrested inside Pakistan. Last month, Pakistan had unveiled a dossier, containing irrefutable evidence of India’s sponsorship of terrorism in the country and called on the international community to take notice and make efforts for peace and stability in South Asia.

And I wouldn't declare it a massive victory.. Arresting them one hour earlier before the attack seems like luck favored us.

Pakistani government intends to have an open border policy with both Afghanistan and Iran.

We should have hanged Kulbushan Jadhav when he was found guilty of terrorism. Why he is languishing in Jail is astonishing.

I wanted to avoid putting words in your mouth. so I let you explain yourself why you said what you wrote.

on the face of it you are not saying anything wrong. he is guilty and needs to be punished for what devastation his plans have brought to our Baluchistan.
his scope was sectarian war, ethnic war, attack on infrastructure, attack on security forces and targeting prominent people of the society.

he has been handed a death sentence already and now its down to the state whenever he is hanged. although his case is pending in the international court but even if it is decided in Pakistan favor keeping him alive and using him constantly as an embarrassing reminder to Indians is yielding much more benefit.
you see, the world has a very short attention span.

keeping him alive has helped in busting more terror rings. his interview has been used in building case against Indians.
in our custody he is good as dead. he is never leaving. we will continue to poke in the Indian eyes by bringing him up as long as he lives. killing him might give Indians some much needed relief of propagating his innocence and you know how well Indians are good at propaganda

they have industrialized the concept of lies and propaganda. they claimed they were victors of 27 Feb 19 encounter with PAF. they are even claiming they won against China in the recent border wars. so keeping him alive is actually hurting Indians more.

Indians actually wish he is killed or dies so that they can cry victim hood of an innocent businessman abducted from iran.
