Cross-border attack: Pakistan's patience 'running thin' with Afghan Taliban

Pakistan needs to start taking more active steps. The taliban cannot be trusted to keep to their word, nor should Pakistan expect other countries to protect Pakistani interests on worthless unbacked promises.

.
Pak should not ask for permission from afgans or irani's but just bomb the attackers wherever they are.

Pak like any other country has a right to defend itself.

Also army outposts should be heavily armed and upgraded accordingly like Turkiye did.

Mraps for troop transport instead of regular trucks saves many lives

Giving power to Taliban created more problems than Americans staying in Afghanistan. Bad negotiations. No money, no F-16s, only Taliban. We have got nothing. United states is again victorious because of their fantastic diplomatic move. Pakistan, same as usual. Iran is full of terrorists. Now TTP is assisted secretly by Taliban. what a mess!

How?

An American controlled Afghanistan probably would've been a much bigger pain in the ***, you wouldn't have had anything to work with. They would've been direct allies with India and 2 front war probably would've been likely. We had two bad options, we chose the less shittier one.

We may have some radical extremists as our neighbours but that's the best chance we have at working with something. You just need to play your cards right and dismantle these proxies the best you can. You need leverage over those maniacs next door.

The key to fighting terrorist organizations is intelligence, which requires intelligence agencies to enter the enemy. Know where the money and weapons come from. If there are external forces, China can work with Pakistan to find a solution. I estimate that these funds are transferred from non-governmental organizations in Central Asia to Afghanistan. Pakistan needs to control its borders and improve its intelligence-gathering capacity. With the change of the regional political environment, terrorist attacks will gradually decrease, and China will also begin to increase investment in industrial zones.

This is taking place, some cross-border events have taken place recently.

Border fencing is also taking place.

Why do you think the attacks will decrease though? Political environment in Afghanistan is unstable, and it is unclear what games Iran is playing, it could be funding the insurgents but it's hard to say.

The reduction in terrorist attacks depends on Pakistani intelligence. You come up with evidence and intelligence clues.

Expecting IEA to take action against TTP or even disarm them is delusional.

Pakistan (the political leadership) needs to be tell the Public what the real relationship with IEA is rather than portraying it as cordial and hushing matters under the rug. We need to build a public narrative today, which is a prerequisite for any future action we take. Check out the dangerous public opinion of the Taliban on Pakistan’s street; people think of them as some sort of hero’s.

The truth is that the Taliban are giving sanctuary to TTP, and in the future you will see they will break all commitments to Americans and also host global terrorist. The Taliban can never be trusted.

They are ideologs, you can’t reason with them either.

you can't dismantle it now. It's too late. India has established a successful link with Iran and weapons are now easily transferred. India will not stop it at any cost. Iran is secret partner of India. we can't start invasion of Iran without diplomatic support. United states will become partner and others specially arabs, they are ready to invest. we have so many options. Iran thinks that it can destroy Pakistan without waging a war. it's a mistake by Iran. Iran isn't fully aware of Pakistani relations with Saudia and America.
Americans are natural enemies of Iran. It's better for us to ask China to keep quiet in this matter. enough is enough. If they can dream about minerals of Pakistani Baluchistan, we can also dream opposite which is control of strait of Hormuz. These coastal areas, they are vital for Iran and India. hit enemy where it hurts most. Diplomatically, united states can easily support and other countries can only watch. even India can't attack Pakistan because United states will not allow it. Long story short! Capture coastal cities of Iran. Hit them hard. let them cry. They should feel pain.
But all this is useless because we keep blaming Afghanistan and India. Iranian lobby in Pakistan is too strong. If we invade them, this Proxy will start it's work and multiple blasts will become normal in Karachi and other cities but this is the cost. we are ready to bear this cost. let's end this mess once for all. We can't afford to be surrounded by three enemies from 3 different sides. time to act. Not doing anything will be considered as weakness.

Finish Iran first. united states can come back to Afghanistan again. It's all about playing right cards at the right moment. Don't trust Taliban's. They are liars. they are helping TTP. For dismantling TTP, either apply same Iranian invasion formula or allow united states to do that again. we can fool united states again. They still want to fight Taliban's. personally, i want to see bigger Pakistan with Kabul and strait of Hormuz under Pakistani control. We can do it. We need good minds who can think about future, who can plan future strategy right now.

Just like US politics is marred with dysfunction due to special interests preventing any reforms from taking place, similarly in Pakistan too many special interest and lobbies are conspiring to further their agenda to the detriment of the state and state is paralyzed by these lobbies to do anything to break the chains.
US has reached apex so he to come down and coming down. Pakistan just full with self saving awam, dirty mafia politicians, it is Pakistan which is perfect example of a dysfunctional state due to the fact that system was systematically made dysfunctional by Nawaz and zardari mafia and army being most powerful and capable has informally taken over the country. So no one can do accountability of Army establishment and for good reason. Politicians are hopelessly inept and corrupt except IK, who is quiet inept.
