Creation of Bangladesh: Myths Exploded by Dr. Junaid Ahmad

There were some. They just were not captured in the foreground of the official pictures of that ceremony.

But there is picture of one mukthi bahini leader marching along with Niazi, Aurora Singh etc IIRC.*

I agree he should have been in the foreground as well.

*EDIT: this is picture i am talking about with the MB guy pointed out:

I think that's guy from Indian frontier froce.

May be....but I had it on good authority from an earlier forum that he is from the BD resistance.

This video from about 2.20 mark says he is Major ATM Haider...and also labels him again near end of video.

On 7 October 1971, Captain Haider joined as commanding officer while K-force was formed under the leadership of Khaled Mosharraf. He attended the Racecourse Maidan during the surrender of Pakistan Army on 16 December 1971.

May be some BD members can shed some light if this is correct.

There is an Interesting information I can Give you. During 1971 there were 3 Bengali brigade made of professional soldiers of EX PAK army beside freedom fighters. The Z force led by Zia ur Rahman, K force led by Khaled Musharraf and S force led by KM Shafiullah.

KM Shafiullah was the army chief when Mujib was killed. Khaled Musharraf was the popular officer who started counter coup against Mujib's killers and overthrew them. A socialist revolution by another 1971 war hero Taher killed Khaled Musharraf. Zia was the guy who arrested Taher and killed and became the unchallenged leader of Bangladesh. All of them were very much popular and had huge number of professional troops under their command in 1971.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K_Force_(Bangladesh)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S_Force_(Bangladesh)

By 10th December, 1971 Khaled Musharraf reached Daudkandi Near Dhaka and planning an offensive on Dhaka. Zia was also in move and S force of Shafiullah was in Sylhet.

The Indians as the allied head, suddenly ordered K force to move to Chittagong, to the direction from where they were coming. Baffled by the order Khaled left Dhaka and went to Chittagong.

Z force was ordered to move to Sylhet where S force was already in position. And the S force was ordered to Move to Dhaka from Sylhet just before surrender.

So you know None was present in the ceremony. We still dont know why they were ordered like this. We can speculate.

I think that's guy from Indian frontier froce.

Mukti Commander in Chief MAG Osmani was invited to attend the ceremony. But HE declined it on security reasons. Second in Command attended. Here is the photo. White Uniform Airforce officer AK Kandakaer

Dunno. Maybe ask the BD people that keep opening this kind of topic every week pretty much?

So to you, the subject only limited to this forum?

well as a matter of fact,if there wouldn't have been IA incursion into East Pakistan, there wouldn't have been Bangladesh.
The things due to which I feel pity on Bengalis is fact that, even single bengali was not allowed at surrender ceremony and still it's your victory day"prai shadi mai andulllah dewaney"

Along with an Indian imposed blockade. That was what hampered the PA's supply line in the first place. But that still doesn't answer the question.

And no Bengalis were "allowed" (please define this part) in the surrender ceremony? Is that really a fact?

The PA surrendered to the IA, and no one else.

Huh.. I always admire why Indians jump whenever BD discussion is there... In larger picture the whole BD process was designed in India and Implemented by them only... Till date Seikh Hasina govt is imposed on the people of BD by the RAW agent and 10% population mainly hindu. Just the way 2013 election was accomplished.. All major police chief position and judges post are given to hindu personality...

intellectual discourse should allow all ideas to be expressed - one does not have to agree with everything to react by banning is the lowest form of rationality and thus humanity. Why are people threatened by differences?

time to have our narrative on record as well.
