Crazy things you believed as a kid

I was shocked when i learned what really happens.......

As a kid this question always bothered me ... where does a baby come from ?? ... n I had the same felling as you when i knew the reality ...lolz

there was a bunglow just near our house, it was really big, made like a palace, and coloured in red, this whole house was empty, and window glasses broken. in childhood the children of my neighbourhood always believed that ghosts lived in that house, it was haunted, and we were so afraid to go there

there was also an empty plot near the marriage halls we have in sakhi hassan, nazimabad karachi, and there lived an old lady and she always ate paan and her mouth was always red and had a long stink in her hand taller then she was!!, in the abandoned big hall like building, and the building really looked haunted. we thought she was a witch and would cast her spell if we go near her!!, we were too frightened.. lol

Actually that stinks...

As a kid I believed all the adult people are fools!!!! When they have so much money in their pockets why they don't just buy all the ice creams, toys and enjoy themselves!!!! What on the earth are more important than that!!! lol

Everyone is taught the same thing.

I happen to have the opportunity to study in Pakistan while Zia was ruling but no such thing was part of any ciriculum (punjab text board books)....... other than one story in Urdu (literature) book 'nishan-e-haider'.
Where as in major cities...... schools are largely private and teach foreign ciriculam.
Most of private school children opt. for A and O levels..
I don't see a point in whole education system, which support your candid claim.

Can you please... help us with some extra explaination?

LOL My Afghan friend used to convince me that his hen could lay as many as 3 eggs a day and I like actually believed him and told my grandma about his magical hen just to become a laughing stock for being dumb enough to believe him.

There’s other things way more hilarious than this one that he told me but I can’t post ‘em here for some reason.

P.S. His name is Dawood Jaan but I fondly call him ‘Kably Meva’…one of my few bestest friends. He was performing some sort of ‘chilla’ but unfortunately fell ill lately. Please pray for him, he has a family of ten to support to.

When i was very young kid, I use to believe that i can fly....... if i had wings tied to my arms.
When i grew little older than some impact of english movies started to take shape old beliefs and i start to believe i can jump from the roof of my house with umberella in hand and will land like a parachuter.....
Now most horrific part..... on many occasions i went to the roof with umberall and stood on brink looking down and open umberella in my hand but always sense prevailed.

I also believed that theory about ambulance... it was quite common i believe.

An ambulance or firetruck on its way to an incident is allowed to run over up to seven people.

Of all the crazy/silly/naive things listed, I believe this one takes the cake.

Imagine how cool it would be if it was true streets would clear off in a jiffy hearing a siren.

-I believed that babies were dropped from sky by god to their mothers in hospital.
-I believed that when i would get older. I would become more happy where as my teen life was way better then my current life.
-I believed that masturbation will make me cancer patient.I also believed that frequent masturbation would enlarge my penis too much and it would rip my clothes so i was scared that this way my parents will find out that i masturbate.So i was very scared but was horny as hell too so used to masturbate a lot...haha.
