Although radar of this plane so huge that it can detect its enemy before they do, But still even if it comes to Dogfight between Su -30 MKI and any other XYZ plane, then even an pilot with "Average experience" on MKI can "Lock On" to its enemy aircraft, in any direction (north,south,east,west, Up/down,right/left) and at an unimaginable low speed while using awesome maneuverability powers of this marvelous piece of metal.

And how can we forget the "Cobra" style, which will help the jet to reduce its speed drastically in a short period of Time/Distance to dodge enemy plane on its tail.

Yes, Cobra is an Airshow maneuver but you can't brush it in as "little operational value". It can be used as a surprising move to surprise the enemy at any crucial point of dogfights, and these little surprises are what matters the most in Modern DogFights, where split seconds decisions can make it or brake it.

And we should not forget that Cobra maneuver reduces the speed of MKI drastically in seconds.

F15E direct counter to su 39mki depends on 1.6 TWR (HIGHEST 2ND) and low wing loading and great wing area. For high G maneuvers. So at certain height and speech it will outperform Su30mki. Elsewhere at low altitude su 30 wins. Best normal US counter f18S/H nearly same maneuverability. Su 35 matches up ell.

So far China and pakistan can only drool.
