Indians when they hear something negative about CPEC

pakistani when they hear something negative about so called CPEC !
great analysis and i can't disagree from some ,If you cannot comprehend the difference between free trade investment and concessional investment done by the likes of China, then you are deliberately blind.
The powers that invest in such kinds - like US did to Pakistan in early 60's and then on, come with strings attached. They offer concessional loans or invest in guaranteed return projects, the projects if they fail then lead to situations when these powers ask for something in return to compensate. Typically they are also accompanied by more concessional loans in the defense sector which starts making the country both militarily as well as economically reliant on one patron country. Then they start making inroads and buying out key politicians and generals to maintain status quo and ensure nobody challenges their hold in that country. This doesn't play out in 1 year or even 10 years. This plays out over several decades.
If this sounds familiar - thats because it is. Pakistan has gone through this exact same route with US back in teh day. Idiots expect to the do the same thing over and over gain while expecting different results. Pakistan has always cut its own nose to spite India. Pakistan is clearly willing to pay any price to maintain parity or fight with India.
And frankly, India's collective reading of Pakistan is that Pakistan absolutely refuses to learn from history and adapt. That can be seen as how Pakistan has made the same mistake over and over again wrt India. Its symptomatic of the Pakistani behaviour.
Pakistan attacked India in 1965 and since then on has consistently tried to declare war on India by first sending in irregulars while thinking that India would not respond across the international border. This happened in 47, 65, 71, 99. Each time, your higher authorities have thought that 'this time', we have the Indians locked and they wont be able to respond. Each time they have been proved wrong when Indians went across the IB. While this assumption is valid as a theory the first time and even the second time to test for luck or coincidence. Pakistan's repeated use of this without yielding any results any time is instructive for us.
This merely shows a level of adamancy in Pakistani authorities (civil as well as military). They refuse to adapt and are bull headed. This is a tactical advantage but strategic fallacy. As has been evinced repeatedly - Pakistan is tactically brilliant but strategically dunce.
