What's new

CPEC aims to bring together China, India and Pakistan.

We can build a greenfield city without a corridor...Yaay :yahoo:

But CM building in ricebowl of andhra ( 3 crop paddy fields).. lakhs of acres being pooled from farmers... where as we have plenty space available in other areas .. that is the main issue..

.
@PaklovesTurkiye , my young Pak Friend,

What is this CPEC?

Why it is of so much importance for Sino-Pak Axis?

Why the enemies are doing their level best to create troubles for China and Pak on different fronts?

As I have stated many a time before.. CPEC is a framework of great strategic importance for the birth of a new world geo-political and geo-economic order...with Eurasian integeration as great price.

China is the Centre of this New Paradigm. Pak a critical pillar...

Just to give a vivid example... look at your JF-17...what it did for your aviation and defence... before JF-17 your PAF was ill equipped, flying vintage '16, J-7Ps and Mirages...despite having the best pilots...in all honesty PAF was ill equipped.

And now your PAC/PAF is in the process of building ASEA and NGF along with 5th fighter at home.

Just stop a moment and think about it...

What a great, monumental achievement is this... what Great Leap Forward...both in defence of Pak and industrialisaion.

Same is CPEC in civilian sector. It is not just roads, railways or powerplants...these things are the groundwork... the real party starts after the completion of infrastructure.

CPEC is just in its first phase...

After this a rapid industrialisation will be unleashed...Sure there will be local losers...fair game... if you don't plan and invest in quality you will perish. Good thing for Pak consumers.

Pak industrial and manufacturing base is going to serve ME, Africa and South America too... with Chinese and other countries investing heavily...just like the boom in South East Asia.

Most important thing here is that you need to learn from China - both from success and mistakes.

Just like JF, no need to invent the wheel but build upon what already is working and transplant industrialisaion in controlled yet rapid manner.

The goal of economic development has to be social justice and education. Education, education and some more education.

You are Civilisational State, going back thousands of years....time to think differently.

Pak is critically important in ME and CA... throug SCO, ECO and EEU, OBOR... the great future is here... it is only upto your political class to waste this golden chance.

At this stage... you have no clear cut 5, 10, 20 yr plan... which is dangerous really.

Develop your clear cut Game Plan for Pak State for Social Development, Economy and Defence...

Only then will you become a truly Great South West Asian Regional Power of Global Consequence.

Space is where you have focus now... for civilian use in collaboration with China, Russian, EU, US and of course Turkey as well.

Time to Think Big and ACT Bigger!

Indian is losing a lifetime opportunity for her economic growth--due to Pakistan hatred-- and we should be okay with this. If indians dont want to be a part of this international venture, Pakistan and China dont need to force/blackmail India for that. I hope they will join later seeing the potential and economic benefits of this collaboration. And if they dont, they will regret for decades.

We are already growing at ~8% per annum will do better with policy reforms & setting up of industrial corridors on our own.

We just don't need Chinese investments (with sovereign guarantee) to build our own powerplants, roads and metros at excessive rates. We are already doing that without them.

There is much more than just power plants. What if you get access to Afghanistan and CARs through Pakistan after joining CPEC which is far cheaper and geographically short route to transit goods from North, East & West India (till Rajistan) to Central Asia and China than using Gujrat or Mumbai port to Chahbahar and then through war-torn Afghanistan. Secondly energy route: Irani oil and gas pipelines to India through Pakistani terrority. Better to look at the bigger picture.

India fall into big category not in Pak category (economy).. CPEC more a alternative way to bypass malacca straight...

. . .
The falsehoods never stop with you, do they? The narrative you spout is just too hard to shake, isn't it? How many times are you going to repeat this lie over and over again?

Do a little research. Most of the interest rates being provided by China are below market rate loans. Get it through your thick skull.

More falsehoods. The Pakistani economy is not in "doldrums". It is growing at a healthy rate, and accelerates a little bit each year.

No, it is Pakistan that stands the most to gain from CPEC, not China. Pakistan needs a massive investment in its energy infrastructure to resolve its current crisis. It has been estimated to be costing Pakistan 2-2.5% in economic growth every year.
They are not investing, they are giving you debt...so you give contracts to Chinese companies...they build you the projects...they charge you for using them...and they use the same infra for flooding Pakistani market and exporting Chinese goods to other countries without having to pay the transit tax...and in the end you have to pay the loan you took at the beginning!!
Get the difference?

Well we are happy with our projects... no thanks.. We have plenty projects in hand.. not dependent on single country loans, investment... Power demand growing rapidly, so are the power projects...

road connectivity:

The target of construction of National Highways is 15,000 km, of which 6,604 km have been completed till Feb in the current financial year 2016-17.

You are confusing NSTC with route through Afghanistan. Both are different...
For trade through central asia this is route

And it is already started
And this is another route
