Now how do I oppose this action? He came with a gun, so should I now take out a gun and start killing all opposition and kill who? God forbid, fight with my own country's soldiers? How do I become Supreme Commander?

Benevolent dictator is very nice. But you'll never find them even among Angels, let alone a rotten lot like Pakistani leadership.

A leaders lagaam should always been in people he/she serves.

Everyone should vote. Spend a few bucks go back to Pakistan and cast your vote. Encourage others to do the same.

This way representative people are elected not just those who got their people to vote while others enjoyed a sunday off.

If the fear for Military Coup or Martial Law is lurking in our country then I say let it come, let Pak Army once again come on the roads & streets of Pakistan because they are the saviors of Pakistan & when they are on the streets of Pakistan enemies of Pakistan are always shitting out their dippers. I hope & pray that our Pak Army comes out soon, saves Pakistan & most importantly destroy these corrupt culprit politicians who have & are destroying Pakistan in the names of Democracy F**K it. Yes he did. And to be honest the kind ofgovt we have in this country, he is right. This happens when you have jaali democracy in your country. Chaos everwhere.

He won't. If today the supply lines are closed and there is no operation in North Waziristan then it is because of Army. Or else ever ready to sold parties like MQM or ANP would just take a few bucks to open the supply route.

We are opposing the actions of this "democratic" govt and what we achieve at the end? Raja Rental as the new PM.

Why there was, no crouption under dictatorship?
Why feul prices, gas prices,were much lower in dictatorship?
Why local infrastructure, been improved under dictatorship with lightning speed?
Why law & order situation was much better underdictatorship?
Why our overall economic condition boosted durring, dictatorship?
Why no croupt politician & bussinesmen weren't able to transfer their black money into any swiss banks?

huh let me clarify one thing people of pakistan love pakistan army alot that goes without saying but they dont want army to take control if they wanted army control then imran khan would never have the strenght he has now. and secondly i am glad to see that indian writers and newspapers have no idea how kiyani thinks

kiyani is a smart man when he came the army had alot of bad rep and people were against them. in that time he did a very bold step that never happened in pakistan he took the army out of all the political seats and decisions and put them back into the barracks and for the first time in our countrys life after the ayub khan marshal law the army was back in the barracks and the border. that man knows the hate army received when musharaf left he tried so hard to quell it all up to recreate the love that people have and lo and behold people love the army like they used too so why would he waste such hard work for a simple coup no coup had its height when 2 years ago people were calling the army themselves and kiyani didnt listen and when the memo happened if it didnt happened then it wouldnt happen now

well people dont they want imran khan the support that would have shifted too the army shifted their and the army doesnt want this either. the people even at most want the army to take down the govt and call for elections not become rulers themselves trust me hope are on imran khan and the army is loved for their work on the border and the barracks

Or its because of public pressure. People have to get votes too, a former anti-PCO mate of Iftikhar Choudhary is heading the ECP which will be conducting the elections this time around.

When we voted this government in we gave it a period of 5 years you have to let that happen, but after 5 years we can vote better and choose something else. There is a mechanism in place, what is there in dictatorship? Dictators are usually Presidents for life.

Such benevolent dictators don't exist. Musharraf was better than Zardari. Zardari is a very small thing to measure up to.

But they are still dependent on the awaam's vote. It is the job of the awaam to keep a not of such incidents where they went against public interest and next time don't vote for them.
