Meeting the growing demand of the country, Walton also targeted to export laptops and desktops to foreign countries and going to sign a deal with Nepal government in this regard, the company officials said.

The company developed research and development centers, testing laboratory and quality control department inside the factory.

Walton invested around Tk 100 crore for setting up this plant and they have plans to spend more in future.

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak along with senior officials of the country’s largest tech business conglomerate was also present at the event.

In 2010, state run company Telephone Shilpa Sangstha Limited also started a plant to assemble laptops branded as ‘DOEL’ but that got minimum response from the market.

. .
They have variety of options from low end to high end Laptops. Starting from BDT 20 thousands to BDT 60 thousands.

There high end models are armed with 7'th generation Intel core processors with GPU and DR3/4 RAM, SDD/HDD.They also offers licensed MS Windows OS for a fraction of the cost. Very Cheap and affordable for such configuration, I must say.
