You Just Don't Get It Producing Surplus Power Is Not The Issue It Is The Management Of The Entire System That Is.What About Controlling Line Losses and Power Theft???What About The Circular Debt That Has Reached Rs.900 Billion Plus??????

Surplus power is a start, current gov will not fix 70 years of **** ups. Theft is provincial gov responsibility.

Now that we have surplus power, we can work on making it sustainable. Now all major cities from Peshawar to Karachi will have minimum load shedding. And police will have to curb theft in rural areas. This summer will be first after long time with no loadshedding. It will also mean people will not depend on generators, oil etc Saving billions of $.

Without Power Sector Reforms Surplus Power Will Only Create More Problems.We Even Had Surplus Power When Benazir Signed IPP Agreements But That Power Eventually Became Death Sentence For Our Industry

govt is surcharging customers for theft
line losses has nothing to do with theft
the recoverable now stand at around 90%, 20% are structural line losses
govt refused asian bank reforms to correct these changes via smart meters
