Counter Battery Radars

Further more, question is that WHY Pakistan is running three surveillance system in parallel that is Chinese, American and European mix (french and Swedish). May be, Chinese technology is the one, which Pakistani engineers can learn and able to made certain changes according to their requirements with Chinese help, no strings attached like with the other one's.

one thing is the difference in time line of there induction. The US radars were inducted in 80s while the Chinese ones are a new option/addition.
Also probably it is to keep the diversity. In order to avoid Counter-measures, diversity will play an important role.
Also inductions as stop-gap measure is a reason. We need to keep our finance in mind while purchasing such systems.

These things are not taken a lot seriously in our forces. For example, we have been hearing about a range of Surface-to-air missile system that Pakistan army/air force was reported to be interested in inducting but nothing have materialized.

As far as i know arthur isn't in service with PA?
As for IA 12 units of AN/TPQ-37 with 50km range and 28 BEL WLR with 30-40km range.
A unit was acquired by Pakistan and was under evaluation.

Listening about the Arthur Mod C Radars since 2006, developed by SAAB Electronic Defense Systems, offered to us as a side order with SAAB Erieye AEW equipped Saab 2000 aircraft from Sweden ... however one example came in Pakistan in 2007...... don't know is it in or not ..... similarly, VERA passive radars by Czech republic also went under trails in Pakistan for a very long time, again not known fate. i hope if any one knows about it.
Yes one more thing we were also looking in YKLC-20 radars of china..... what happened? is it THE one reason for not going for VERA's? ... any one??
VERA was leased to Pakistan back in 2006 and was under evaluation. As per my information and data i ran across on internet it is still with us.

This would have been a great addition to Pakistan air defense.

The system would have suited our requirements very well but the chances of acquiring it in numbers in bleak with American reported to have purchased the company manufacturing this radar in order to stop exports to China. If they are so sensitive about the technology, i guess they wont be willing for this to get into Pakistan's hands. The united states were very much concerned about this radar system because of its ability to detect stealth aircraft like F-22 and F-117 and didn't want this to get out.
