Unless there is a massive civil rights and lawyer movement that shuts down cities. i dont see how else elections are possible.

You are right, under present circumstances elections won't happen until IK is exterminated and PTI is banned, civil war is most likely scenario, end of the day duffers are duffers who don't care about aftermath of severe consequences.

According to the records presented in the Lahore High Court, 84 cases have been filed against Imran Khan in Punjab and 43 in Islamabad.
The number of cases will increase because this record is up to March 20.

Do you see any plan from the government to hold elections? Nobody is moving an inch towards preparing for elections.

Lets imagine IK is disbarred from running for office (hopefully not killed) and PTI is banned and designated a terrorist party. What good will having those elections do then?

Will form another govt for 5 yrs which will have some sort of stability that may allow international donars to provide some money.
