Why is it, reading from red countries to yellow basically reads like a list of countries you would choose not to live for various reasons such as crime, poverty, corruption. Or do you like the prospect of living in Sudan, Somalia, Uzbekistan?

Sure USA is corrupt but on the levels of Russia or Africa/East haha no way, backhand deals are common place and even corruption among bribing police to get off with crimes is commonplace in many parts of the world, try that in America and you would be jailed...elsewhere in the world..commonplace.

That means the other countries are corrupt, Americans are just working in the national interest.

your right but dont forget if it is one of the most corrupt in its foreign policies it even has great roots of corruption on domestic levels...plain logic

cause democracy has few flaws too...one of the biggest is corruption at ALL levels

USA is so honest that they have legalized Lobbying. That means legalizing corruption the american politician work for the interest of Lobbyist not the general public.
The only time I heard of lobbying case in corrupt India the lobbyist was send to jail.
