PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that corrupt mafia wanted to blackmail government over current economic crisis, ARY News reported on Sunday.
I will never betray people of Pakistan”, PM Khan said while expressing his views in the Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa provincial cabinet meeting in Peshawar.

The prime minister said from the very first day he had been hinting at tough days ahead as the government inherited a record fiscal deficit and he termed the deal with International Monetary Fund (IMF) a ‘best one’.

He said the government’s poverty alleviation program ‘Ihsas’ would create a social safety network and for this program, the government would enhance its package from one hundred billion rupees to one hundred and eighty billion rupees to ensure its outreach to every poor.

Khan said the government would also launch business loans scheme for the youth as another step towards the country’s development.
Mr Imran Khan directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet to ensure price control of eatables in the province.

He also directed for formulation of a well coordinated strategy to promote information technology and vocational training in the province.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the tribal elders hailing from the tribal districts, had said that a system in erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) would not confront with the tribal values and culture.

Salaam

I hope he actually has a plan to counter these attempts. If things keep moving in this directions, Pakistan and Pakistanis will suffer.

Don't open multiple fronts at one time. If you want to take out the corrupt mafia in the political parties, for instance, then focus on that. Do what what you can to keep others of your back. If it means paying the media houses to tow your line, than do that.

Like the security forces did, first took out mqm, then went on to NS and after him have started to move against Zardari. It would've been considerably harder to do it against all at the same time.

Anyways, I hope they have a plan. A good plan.

So IMF is corrupt mafia now?

Why did he sell Pakistan to IMF then?

The way things are going, Imran Khan is the corrupt mafia and enemy of Pakistan. Not even wars, terrorism and decades of corruption could do what Khan did in 9 months.

PTI still has PTI party workers. There is a lot they can do to motivate the people to have hope. The most useful thing in the PTI arsenal is getting voluntary party workers to donate their time and the ability to spend for small projects to keep up the momentum. We have millions of young people that want to live in a prosperous country, and therefore would be willing to contribute their labor to achieve it, as a "bridge" until their are government resources in better times to pay for these kinds of services.

1. they can go out and personally clean up the cities and villages while also keeping an eye on municipal workers to make sure they are doing the jobs they are paid to do.
2. They can educate people on how to properly separate their waste and start mini-recycling programs in their areas
3. they can start conservation programs, especially water, and donate rubber pipes to start drip irrigation.
4. they can build mini bio-gas generation plants to each neighborhood so food waste and be composted into usable methane
5. they can buy a refrigerator to allow people to place their leftover food for the less fortunate community members
6. they can donate their time to teach kids, and make up for poor government school education
7. the teachers among the PTI workers can volunteer at schools to watch over government workers to make sure they are properly teaching the kids
8. they can donate multivitamins and clean water capsules to purify water making it safe to drink, so that even river water can be used when water supplies are low
9. they can train unskilled laborers in technical skills on their expense, so they can become a more productive worker when the job opportunities come up; this also applies to farmers, so they can be more productive farmers

For the next 4 years, if these kinds of projects can be started and sustained, through the efforts of volunteers, the people will pay their taxes. This is not a new model, but the EDHI Model. Donations from those able to do so in the country, and those from around the world can go into these programs, with full transparency, can really motivate the people that things will get better. The volunteers will have to work for free though, or for a basic amount, so as not to be seen as creating an employment program, that just employs PTI workers. In fact, all Pakistanis can volunteer, but they must know it will be without financial compensation.

The PTI workers who are willing enough, can go into areas that have been historically undeserved, such as Baluchistan, Parts of Sindh, and KPK/Ex-Fata and help build up those areas to the rest of the national standards. In this regard the PTI can learn from the efforts done the the US Peace Corps.

since 2013 - 2016 there were 3 imf program by which we receive loan about $38 bln now tell me even then noora league failed to meet their demands this is why next imf program is going to be tough

remember a country goes to imf only when it have a poor economy condition and no other bank is ready to give you loan

if you look stats and figure from 2008-2018 you will notice phuppo party era was way better then noora league

Not nearly enough tough measures dear prime minister.

Tax the shit out of the elite including Nawaz Sharif, Zardari and others. Only than will I consider it to be tough and good measures.

There is only one proper way of getting at Nawazoo and Zardari. Tax the shit out of them and hold them accountable for robbing the nation in daylight. Make them sweat like a pig.

Our PM is only complaining. He has the authority. He needs to wage a war. He is in control. He needs to make it count and not complain. Deeds and not words.

I am going to say this as clearly as I can. It is disappointing thus far. Imran Khan needs to stop looking like a Musharraf who surrounded himself with scum and became lethargic in doing what needed to be done. This is time to ACT. Not sit down and complain. We need to see a witch hunt against the elite. Elite who have destroyed Pakistan and do not want it to prosper.

That is another one we need to clamp down on. The media needs to be restricted. Until Pakistan doesn't sort out its political, security and economic challenges we need to restrict the spoilers.

Give a middle finger to anyone shedding crocodile tears. All of the above needs to be done with absolute conviction.

He is responding to what the gang of Maryam Tweetni, Billo Rani and Mullah Diesel are planning at.

He has been in office for a reasonable time now. He should have come much harder on these thugs, but he hasn't.

The political elite in Pakistan needs to be taken to task. Nawaz Sharif and Zardari need to be punished. Unless Imran Khan doesn't up the ante against the elite he is just passing time in office. The Pak armed forces and Imran Khan are on the same page. We are uniquely positioned here. Time has come to make most of this.
