People in Bollywood sure copy some stuff but there is lot more stuff which is not copied......so who cares. And most are not even copies lyrics is totaly different except few word and the tune.

True, not everything is a copy.

Anyone who knows music professionally can write a few lines alias lyrics if a ready-made composition is on hand. In fact now the practice is that the lyricists write a few lines for a compositions, gone are the days when composers would compose proper and meaningful lyrics.

I dont think they can get away that easily at international award functions but the very worth of Indian cinema is more focused on IIFA nad GIMA

The song 'Musu Musu Haasi Deu' sang by Himalayan Band in the 70's was remade (actually stolen) by and Indian Music director and put in the movie 'Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi'.
I suppose there is no word in Hindi as 'Musu musu' it's an expression of how you smile in Nepali.

There are many many songs copied, derived, borrowed or ilegally stolen from many sources. Only the original people who created those music knows the real story behind those songs. Copyright does matter.

From music (tune) to lyrics...I havent analyzed if you copy 1 music from 1 song and the lyrics of another or do you copy 1 part and generate the other....you are free to analyze each music beat!
