Cooperation Between Turkey-Egypt

The Prime Minister of Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the Minister of Defense and Military Production of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdul Fattah Khalil Al-Sisi on Thursday, May 9th. They reviewed the growing close strategic cooperation between their two brotherly countries. Out of the discussions that took place during General Al-Sisi's visit to Turkey to attend IDEF 2013 Military Exhibition, the two countries agreed Turkey will make available Turkish Eximbank credits in the amount of 250M US Dollars to fund Egyptian - Turkish joint defense production and procurement specially in areas related to protecting borders and coast guard equipments.
