Just wondering, what's the Contingency setups in place when the high ups end up being childish and egoistic, and will ruin the entire country just because someone challenged them in how to run the country?
I think we all know what's been transpiring recently and how stupid and low IQ it all is and how ill planned and ill thought.
I mean, who is scared to shit but a childish mind and has a high court open in the middle of the night to save them?

An even better question is. I thought the forces had a very well organized recruiting system for officers and everyone is scanned well psychologically. Or are they? Or all we look is who will be good at following orders?

Answer 2: Army are suppose to be soldiers. Not Politicians , Businessmen or statesmen. There is no such thing is "Great Minds" Everyone is great at what he is trained for his life for 99% of people. Give me enough data and i can tell you where your business will stand after 4 years and what you need to correct it. But i cannot defend your civil case in courr or Give you a decor plan for your house etc. This "Brilliant minds" "Cream of nation" stupidity of one key for every lock have ruined our country. Best minds are enterpreneurs in my opinions not Soldiers or Civil servents.

I have spent several years training in Ninjutsu and Samurai Jutsu, and several other close hand-to-hand combat skills, as well as tactics for long term armed combat.
So how does that help me or you or anyone else in fixing our top tier establishment when they screw up on purpose or without purpose?

Do we even allow free and critical thinkers to pass through? Or is it all about who is great at following orders?

There is no such "mechanism". This country has seen the likes of zia ul haq - the lowest level stooge we have seen. Any mechanism would have kicked in then.

The so-called establishment has worked throughout country's history to destroy and discredit the constitution which forms the basis of this country.

The only mechanism to safeguard national interests are the people but most of them are too jaahil and stupid to understand anything.

Every system has built in checks and balances. Democracy also has them. In Pakistan the Army is also a balancing force in extreme situations. Imran Khan was willfully damaging the country's economics and foreign relations at the behest of foreign forces. His actions can be called changing the trajectory of the country or pre-empting the Islamic direction that the country was taking with fake Riyasat e Madina concepts. His actions can be termed as Munafiqat in Islamic Terminology about those people in Medina who faked Islam.
The war in Afghanistan can be likened to Ghazwa e Khandaq in which the Muslims played a waiting game. During the war the Jews back-stabbed the Muslims. A PTI Woman MNA on the floor of the House called for recognition of Israel. Similarly, In reality, the Pakistani System has ejected Imran Khan from Riyasat e Madina's government just like the Holy Prophet PBUH ejected Abdullah Bin Salam from the leadership role in Medina.

The recruitment is generally good, though some approach works. The main problem is who gets to keep getting promotion. Many here have friends and relatives in army and if they r honest with u they will tell u only chamchageers and relatives of generals get promotion. So u end up with COAS like bajwa and kiyani. Most brave officers in WoT now are mostly retired or on the way.
