The way she tugged his shirt, if it was me i would have snapped as well, may not have slapped her, but would have been really hard not to. She should have realized that she was dealing with most probably an uneducated man who are used to hitting their women. Bottom line is, she got what she deserved and would have expected.

We all have our lapses but what i was trying to explain to him was that the previous threads deletion was unfounded and that's why i got suspicious, initial reports didn't clearfiy which FC he was from.........................Pakistani's love to skin a hair and not address the real issues, make you wonder, No? True, but he also needs to learn etiquettes, we come across people like him and her in our daily lives and whereas it's entirely up to us to not engage such hotheads but noway such behavior by a public servant should be condoned. If he isn't penalized more will follow suit and feel encouraged.

Firstly, The lady shouldn't have have gone physical with the FC personnel. They stand there to protect them 24/7 and is yet humiliated publicly for the sake of some TRP by a woman. Is it because the man in question was from FC? and this time those lame facebook anonymous posts claiming innocence of certain "untouchable" people wont cut it? Is defence.pk trying to censor it? If true then I am truly shocked. This is exactly what i said yesterday, she could have been shot, its always better to behave when dealing with a stranger especially with one who is acting aggressively.

if the uniformed person was following orders, he will not be penalised by chain of command. If he was acting out of his own initiative, then he could face charges also.

In crowd control situations, its best to form a group and target one party only. A strategy for FC personnel was to gang up together on the camera man and the anchor lady in order to display a show of force. But this FC person was initiating action alone.

He seems to be the rank of lance naik (lance corporal), where as the other FC uniformed person seems to be a sepoy. In any case, if this FC uniformed person was senior then he should have ordered the other sepoy or sepoys at the site to assist him. Him acting alone while other FC personnel watches raises doubts if he was following orders or acting on his own. If the orders had come, then orders are not just for him, orders are for everyone present on duty at that time.

If it wasnt a guard duty but FC had Policing powers on this occasion then those policing powers could have been enforced on the media team instead of the slap. But then guard duties can also be performed by Private Guards on premises. FC personnel wont be required at the premises then.

There must be policies outlined by the authority which runs this building and its operations, those could have been followed to deal with the media.

Discipline is what differentiates a uniformed force from civilians and other departments like media etc. There is hardly any discipline shown by this FC person.

Frontier Constabulary doesnt have ranking system similiar to the Frontier Corps or Army but police... Constabulary is tribal police.
