UK is not Pakistan where one can become a Lawyer, doctor, barrister the day one gets (or buys) undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. there is years of of work involved, pupillage, training, placement are required.
Lawyer
- take an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, in any subject.
- pass part 1 and 2 of the Lawyers Qualifying Exam (SQE)
- complete 2 years (or equivalent if part-time) qualifying work experience.
- meet the character and suitability requirements of the Lawyers Regulation Authority
Barrister
pupillage: A pupillage is the final stage of training to be a barrister and usually lasts one year; in England and Wales the period is made up of two six-month periods
