Neither has any country had its serving Prime Minister jailed and then released back into the post of Prime Minister. The judge screwed up real bad imo

no maximum is 6 months....... apparently his room was all set up in jail and even he thought he was a goner but in the end the guy got to keep his post thus the courts failed. but it was a lost war he would have become a martyr and that would have created problems. well i can assure this is the first time in history a prime minister got convicted and he stayed the prime minister

ofcourse not the judge improvised as you can see in many cases the penalty is 6 months maximum
