If he (or she) has uttered hate speech, he (or she) is not a renowned BJP spokesman.

I can give you three examples of hate speech from the Delhi political campaign, one of the culprits being a Minister in the Central Government, but your defence again will be that he is not a spokesman, that he is not a renowned spokesman, and that he was voicing a personal opinion, and not the opinion of the party.

May be, you are pointing out at Kapil Mishra, I have heard his that particular speech during Delhi riots, "Goli maaro gadaaro ko". This is not a hate speech against any particular community. I expected better from Joe. Anyone knows what happened in Delhi riots was nothing short of state backed pogrom. Calling them riots is insult and make it look like fight between equals.

Yes, I admit it was understated, but no more. It was not a one-sided pogrom; look it up, please, it is not a word to be used loosely. Those attacked were not all supine; some fought back, and a few markers of those exist.

What these jackasses don't understand is that if more, and more, and more people get desperate, and start fighting back, they are facing 15% + 20% = 35% of the Indian population, not counting the already inflamed tempers in the Central Indian forest belt, or the insurgents of the north-east.

Divisive policies have this peculiar effect - they divide.
