Quota system not only ruins the corporation as in case of PIA, Steel mill n almost every govt department including education n health but also demotivates n angers educated, talented n bright individuals. Resulting, educated n skilled people are movjng abroad. Villafes n small towns shojld be provided with quality education. N any D grader wud never realized the imp of quality education. Quota system is a must for sindh---. If pakistani born---so called " Mohajjirs " have a problem---they need to leave Karachi and make permanent residence in interior sindh---. Raise their children and families in small towns and cities where there are minimal facilities of health and education.

Its better that the sons-of-soil should do that first before advising to others. Sons-of-soil live in Karachi and Hyderabad, away from their villages, while holding domiciles of interior Sindh, claiming to be village dwellers. I challenge even doing this, they canot compete with Karachites. This oppression needs to be stopped right now, or no one can stop MQM.

Looking at the old footage of Karachi, it was the best city in whole of Asia. MQM has ruined it. Vast majority of Mahajirs that entered Pakistan stayed in Punjab and other area. We don't have quotas for the majority. Secondly, anti-discrimination laws are not "quotas". Please take the time to look them up and actually read them.

And you have cited an article about colleges anyway. Discrimination based on race is illegal in this country.

We are talking about certain quotas so that everybody is represented, regardless of qualification. I gave the best example of University. If you read the article, Asian are being discriminated because they score high. University don't want all Asian in School so they look at demographic mix of US, and after certain number start rejecting qualified Asian and accepting Black and Hispanic with low entrance score. Top US Universities does this, but deny it. Similarly every US govt institution and private business has a criteria of employing certain number of every race and gender. American just don't talk about it. In America companies get sued under discrimination, if they don't hire certain number other race or gender. Qualification argument is very weak in court, so they do overlook Qualification to hire everyone.

Mean this crap is most probably edited by MQM terror cell at 9-0. #2 All these people achieved this after coming to or being born in Pakistan. #3. Many of them are not in Karachi. #4 I didn't pointed out Mahajirs, rather low life scum that decided to run to Karachi. #5 I myself speak Urdu and have actual Mahajirs in my family.80% of Mahajor that came to Pakistan, Worked hard and now call themselves Pakistani. We should stop squabbling like children for extra rights and work for the betterment of the country. This serves no one. Muhajirs already have their language urdu as national language and extra rights as a community in Karachi. Why we constantly ask for more is beyond me. Sindhis in interior are much poorer than us city dwelling people. We have to abandon support for MQM, especially now since its violent terror and evil is becoming clearer.

Demanding one's just rights, especially when their trampling has affected the entire country and generation after generation is squabbling like children?? Mohajirs don't even have their just rights in Karachi and their just rights have to be shared with Sindhis from interior Sindh who otherwise cannot compete with Mohajirs.

Sindhis in interior Sindh are way poorer than us, agreed. But they have chosen PPP again and again (although to an extent they don't have a choice) and their chosen mama, the late BB, and Bhutto/Zardari clan have sucked them dry year after year........not just that, as virtue of the votes of Sindhis from interior Sindh the same BB and Bhutto/Zardari clan has been sucking Karachiites dry too!!
