AJTR @ Most of your topics are just copy paste article presenting opinions of others. You post them and get disappear. You should also present your opinion in your own words to let us know what you think about certain things. what was your point by posting this article?

I have been told my opinion about hijab. It should be a choice of woman to wear it or not wear it. Women should not be forced to wear it and they should also not be forced to no wear it. If they wear it by considering it as religious obligation then people should not have any problem with it. It again misconception that all women are forced to wear hijab or forced to stay at home because western people cannot digest this fact that hijab could be wear by your own choice

Is this article even genuine? What girl writes like that?

I read the Blog post on Tribune...
Its same old story....People in our country trying to find a reason for not following age old traditons which are both from Culture and Religion...as our culture to most part is effected by Islam...
In Islam ,men and women are asked to dress differently and avoid resamblance with each other..It cant be blue jeans for all...
I dont understand why women in the west are so obsessed with men that they have lost their gender's identity..On a bust weekday in the city centre, many times i cannot tell if the person walking in front of me is a man or a woman, and it not a man in high heels, its always a woman in "manly dress"...Why get so obsessed with men that you apart from having out "Appendages@ pretty much copy us to the last details...
Islam wants to give genders seperate identities ..
Hijab does give women a sense of security.....

Sorry brother I have to disagree...Hijab is not only the headscarf or dupatta...It is a whole covering, clothing, style of walking to talking. Quran says a few criteria about hijab and mind you straight and boot cut jeans both fit in the criteria (no am not talking about tight jeans)...Both of the jeans I mentioned a a lot better than the Pakistani tang pajama or the patiala shalwar which in my family we call Aladin wali shalwar! It is way better than tight shalwar kameez which does not serve it's purpose as it looks like a woman was wrapped for janazah!

I am not sure why Asian men are soo against jeans?! Well, tight jeans are not the only form of jeans available!

If Niqab can't protect a woman in Pakistan from being harassed then what the hell will a Hijab do??

Asian men have X-ray visions. I sometimes feel that Surah An-Nur Ayat 30 was especially for them!

A girl who has not been educated about Hijab but has been forced to wear by people who are just doing it because their forefathers are.

well Muslims women in different culture have adopted hijab according to their own culture. If we look at how hijab is being practice in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, middle east ,somalia or African countries. You will see different variety of hijab. Islam actually tell us what part of body should be visible for Muslim men and women and what parts must be covered. It don't tell us what we should wear but purpose of hijab is to look modest no matter what clothes you wear. If you are wearing some clothes which are giving open invitation but you are just covering your head with head scarf then it don't satisfy the Islamic requirement because hijab is not just covering head. Asian men are againt jeans because it is not as common to see Pakistani women in jeans as it is in indonesia. They see women in loose salwar kameez

i tend to disagree with you i have in my experience noticed that people tend to stay away from the women in hijab than those who are out in modern fancy cloths having alot of makeup on their faces .

Surprisingly works better in the west or basically ANYWHERE BUT where there is South Asian male!

 Nice!

The article proves hard scarves are not a sign of symbol of modestly but a symbol of hypocrisy. Personally, if head scarf is worn right, it looks great and fashionable too.

But I have a first hand experience of hypocrisy that comes with head scarf and I agree with what the writer states.

YA ALLAH ISKA BHALA KERNA!

If women are fully covered they are oppressed and denied freedom of all sorts and are brainwashed zombies
IF women want to innovative and beautify themselves (I am talking about with accordance with the criteria stated in the Quran) AND be religious than they are hypocrites?

WHY all for the women? When will you lower YOUR gaze?

Point is, that even women wearing Hijab are very corrupt to the core, especially here in the gulf. They wear shorts beneath, and then make a slit in front to show their legs, a tank top but with a Hijab, tight fitting Abayas etc etc.

So, a woman can be respectable with or without a Hijab, it isn't as if a Hijab is the compulsion for a woman to be of good character.

You missed the whole point...You lot are giving examples of people who are not even following the Hijab, just like the mullahs WHO call themselves Muslims but preach crap!

Hijab is farz (compulsory) upon the believing women as mentioned in the Quran in surah An-Nūr verse 30 & 31 that the women should cover their head and chest and other sensitive body parts with the exception being the face and the hand. Its really plain and simple and is no rocket science to ponder about.:D SO any body going against the commandmants of Allah(swt) is definitely committing a sin. But we have suckulars everywhere in the muslim world and our beloved prophet Muhammad(pbuh) warned us about such munafiqs who will strive to corrupt and cause chaos in muslim lands.

And as for the bolg Express trubune, if I am not wrong it is part of the international herald tribune , a muslim bashing zionist site. I have read it couple of times and was astounded by the fact that PAK has a news site that supports homosexuality.:disagree: Even we have munafiqi news sites like Daily star and Prothom Baler ALo here ( hard core awami propaganda sites) but even they maintain some limits. Your express tribune crosses all limits in the name of modernity and suckularism. PAK should ban such satanic news outlets.

Yaar clothes do not make a person, at most it shows inclinations. A person wearing a burka is religiously inclined, one wearing blue clothes likes the color blue, one wearing shorts likes to show off their legs and / or finds that convenient or comfortable.

How in the world clothes tell us if one person is good or bad. However those men who look at women wearing western clothes as if they are easy meat, those ba$tards sure are horrible human beings.

So lets punish THEM, educate THEM, instill the fear of God in THEM. That will solve the problem. What say?

Just like when a mad man is driving, you driving your own car need to be careful too...you can not just ignore or blame the mad man...Of course you will be careful on you side as well, or will you wait for the mad man to crash into you before you realize you needed to be careful?

Hijab is farz (compulsory) upon the believing women as mentioned in the Quran in surah An-Nūr verse 30 & 31

Verse 30 is for men, which no one seems to want to discuss...

On a bust weekday in the city centre, many times i cannot tell if the person walking in front of me is a man or a woman,

You need to start learning to differentiate between a man's straight line behind from a woman's curved line....or wearing glasses.
What kind of an argument is that anyway? Because you don't see well people should not wear jeans?

And we we have islamic nations full of fools who cannot give the basic and fundamental rights to human being----but want to squeeze every bit of dignity in the name of religion from them.

The first promise to the muslim converts was equality for all men women and children---civil liberties were foremost as well---FARZ came later on---and FARZ as such is again a personal issue---no one can force it and none can be the enforcer.

Hazrat Umar stated---when I see someone not praying I feel like burning his house---but I cannot do it----muslims have taken a convulated translation of it---the truth to the translation is the the Caliph of islam---Hazrat Umar---did not have any authority over anyone to enforce prayer on that person and punish him or her----that is why he made that statement----that I may feel anger at those not praying---but it is not for me to say anything to them.

Just like the muslims are beating those who are eating during the month of fasting in the day time---who has given them the right to be an enforcer---Allah has not and neither has his prophet---.

When the muslim becomes the enforcer---then in turn HE is stating that HE has become THE GOD----in a similiar manner---when muslims kill and burn humans for desecration of Qura'an or prophet Mohammad's name---it is the same thing---even though the Almighty has stated that the good name of the prophet and the protection of the Holy book and the protection of the holy place ( mosque ) is his domain---when the muslims take charge of seeking revenge----they are inadvertantly stating that God's promise is worthless---that the God does not have the power to provide justice---and the mere mortals are superior in strength to the almighty and his Propeht.

Luffy 500----young man---you suffer from a sickness that majority of the muslims of this world suffer from---your condition won't change untill and unless you change---.

A women has shed her niqab-
And looking excuses to justify that-

She will drop hijab but cannot drop her illegitimate relationships- as she calls it-

Are you implying that girls of your culture can't write? Some of the best and most expressive writers are women. Women tend to "communicate" (talk) more...lends itself to writing.

On a bust weekday in the city centre, many times i cannot tell if the person walking in front of me is a man or a woman, and it not a man in high heels, its always a woman in "manly dress"...

Why do you care that what goes in front of you is a man or woman ?

Hijab does give women a sense of security.....

That is for her to decide. Not us.
