What's new

Cona County in Tibet, near to Tawang city controlled by India, first shot fired here in 1962

Google for this part is not so far off. The pattern is quite usual everywhere. You see Indians very front heavy, and China maintaining a small post for example.

Also some road misalignment usually indicate LAC, and the sentry heavy side is always Indians.

Google is VERY BIAS in favor of India most of the time.

Pictures taken during the day and yet the town is mostly empty. Is there a curfew?

Empty??

This site even has a hotel to accommodate the tourists.

Read the comments from the tourists:

This hotel is located at the center of the valley and close to the county government. It is a 5-storey building that painted in yellow. The nearby village is built nicely. Almost every household have their own Nongjiale (home-based inn & restaurant).

We should Liberate all of them from indian occupation, ASAP
This is Mechuka town. Our villages are still mostly leaf roofed, bamboo and wood constructions. But that's no reason you want to start a war.
You should check your fact in Tibet posting recently. The Google map for this map is not so far off. You can verify by where China and Indians meet

It's located beside the Nyamjang Chu river..

It's a small border village which has very few people in the first place and do you expect Chinese people are like lazy bum Indians roaming around the streets during the day?
In civilized democratic nations, there is a certain hustle bustle along the streets - that's the whole point of commerce. There is vehicular traffic, delivery vans, banks, ATMs etc. You think Indians are "lazy bum" and "roaming around the street during the day"? Are such posters put up in Tibetan Chinese border towns to prevent more Chinese citizens from begging India for refugee status?

LOL, OK, we Chinese don't know how to work and do business, Indian border villges are full of banks and ATM machines and villagers are all out and about doing commerce, driving around in hustle and bustle. India is such a wonderfully developed country and we Chinese all dream about becoming an Indian refugees so we can live in wonderful India. Happy now?LOL...

Nothing to be happy about. I just feel sad for the Chinese that even a 3rd world nation like India is aspirational for them.

lmao.. This city has been cleaned from Endians:lol: but aside from jokes what sort of aspirations are you referring to? How to run 1bil people into poverty? If that is what you were referring to than no China won't be able to compete there with you in fact nobody will be able.. India is no.1 in that category

China should market and properly show to the world the development happening in areas next to LAC. Those ethnic Chinese and their lands, who are forced to live in what is now India, due to colonial legacy of British, will see that and want to merge with the mainland China, a super power. I mean who wants to live in a third world shithole India when the prospects of living as a citizen of a super power are just around the corner?

Liberation doesn't mean a war. War is the last option. There is still many way to do that.

But the most important thing is to unify Tibetan in the south (under indian occupation) with northern brothers

Tibet was a free nation illegally occupied by the CPC.
