Your RAM is attached on your motherboard..that magical thing is Motherboard....
do u see ur Ram? just remove it,dont need to remove other things mentioned in article...ahhh...damn...last hope is getting it to work and then checking it with my work desktop screen (though i did plug it with my tv screen and it didnt work)
And then look to see if there are some computer experts in the dept...
If I send you a pix can you see if I have removed everything there is to remove....I mean I dont know what names means if I have no idea how it looks in my laptop...
