China is not number one yet, no matter how much you play with figures and indexes. Leave early celebrations and bragging to our yindu comrades, even by 2030 China will not be a superpower like the USA is today or our Yindu comrades.

I am confident, just not blusterous.
China will shine with GDP equaling the rest of the world put together, just like old imperial times. I just dont believe that it will happen any time soon and definitely not before 2030.

I think it is better to the change the title from capacity to potential. If it is about potential, then indeed these countries would be the top of the list.

This Index is too simple. We also need to consider other variables like, the stability of social and political environment and education level. People, the educated ones, are the key factor of power of a nation.
