They have gone there to fight expressly in support and promotion of an ultra-violent, supra-nationalist and perverted ideology. That having been said, on topic, vitiating the communal atmosphere is an age old trick and unfortunately the parties which claim to prescribe to the secular tag are world champions at it along with everyone else. The day the LS polls were over the current SP govt. in UP (which claims to be hyper secular) dismantled the refugee camps set up for the folks displaced in the Muzaffarnagar riots immediately and told them to make it on their own (of course the fact that they were still in said camps, under horrendous conditions for so long is in itself a sad commentary on the state govt.'s priorities).
